Soul Calibur 6 - Developer Q&A & Amy News Live Stream on March 11

We're getting more news on Soul Calibur 6's next DLC character—Amy—this next monday as revealed on the Japanese gaming publication Dengeki Online. Details are up for a live stream session featuring the Soul Calibur 6 dev team, and they'll be taking the time to sit down and answer questions from the fans and keep everyone up to date on current developments. We might even find out about a release date for Amy soon but no guarantees, you'll have to tune into the stream to find out. The YouTube stream will go live on March 11, at 7 PM Japan time.

Summary of Project Soul Talk Event from Evo Japan

A Project Soul Talk Event took place during Evo Japan and the dev team behind Soul Calibur 6 took the opportunity to sit down and chat with the community directly. There were no streams for the discussion but we have reports and photos from the event detailing everything that got mentioned. Topics included were changes coming to the online and matchmaking, QOL improvements, further game content drops and several other stuff. Summary of Upcoming Balances Changes in Soul Calibur 6 Ver 1.11 from Dengeki Broadcast

Soul Calibur 6 is expected to get more balance changes in the upcoming Version 1.11 patch so the dev team recently took the time to break down some of the things to expect in a live stream with Dengeki Online. You see the game's producer, director and battle system director go through every character and detail some of the things to either, fix or correct, in relation to the character designs. The team also describes their development philosophies for SC6 which is interesting to know if you're curious as to what their reasoning for some of the changes is. There's also a brief comment of the next DLC pack in the Season Pass which happens to be a Customization Pack featuring over 100 pieces and some new BGM to use in Soul Calibur 6. Update Notice of Soul Calibur 6 Version 1.11 Coming January 2019

SC6 already got the 1.10 update but the Soul Calibur team is still focusing on continuing the ongoing effort to improve the game. Version 1.11 is expected to arrive sometime in January after New Years and it is bringing it's own set of gameplay bug fixes and balance change. The update list was posted by the game's producer Motohiro Okubo himself but it is currently incomplete so there's potentially more stuff that might be getting changed soon. The update is a month out from now but this is a simple heads-up that it is coming and that you should probably forward any bugs you find in the game over to Okubo-san.

Live Gameplay Footage of 2B from Soul Calibur 6 Set to Debut During Dengeki Playstation's Live Broadcast on November 8

Mark your calender 2B fans, we're getting new gameplay footage of the character in action on November 8th during the 15th episode of Dengeki PlayStation's live broadcast. Soul Calibur 6 Producer Motohiro Okubo and Director Yoshiyuki Takahashi are planning on appearing on the stream and they're joined by Yoko Taro and other figures from Square Enix, Platinum Games, Monaco and Ace Combat to talk everything about the collaboration. The broadcast is being streamed live on YouTube, Twitch, niconico and Periscope so there's plenty of avenues to tune into the new footage and potential news. The broadcast starts at 7:30 PM Japan time and concludes later on with the Idol Fantasy Star Saga segment (if you're wondering what the other half of the above image is about.)
