SoulCalibur VI: Haohmaru releases March 31

It's time, Haohmaru from Samurai Shodown is joining the stage of history next tuesday on March 31st! Haohmaru is the 9th DLC for SoulCalibur VI in Season Pass 2 and he drops alongside DLC 10 which is a set of Character Creation items to customize your characters with. Coming from a 2D weapons fighting series, Haohmaru is a natural fit for the SoulCalibur series. Check out the new release date trailer with extended Haohmaru gameplay, a new stage variation, a brand new stage and even a neat little Nakoruru costume.

SoulCalibur VI producer Motohiro Okubo praises the community

The SoulCalibur VI producer had nothing but glowing praise to express towards the community in a recent interview with Dot Esports. Following the launch of the game back in October of last year, SoulCalibur VI has gone on to rekindle interest in the franchise after the long period that followed since the release of SoulCalibur V. With Season 1 of SoulCalibur VI wrapping up soon and the World Invitational event quickly approaching, Season 2 is set to begin soon and in the words of the producer, would not have even happened without the support from all of the players. When you look at the current generation of players alongside the active and communicative dev team behind SoulCalibur VI, the future for SoulCalibur at least for now, seems optimistic and bright. SoulCalibur VI v1.51 & v1.52 patch notes

Following the launch of DLC character Cassandra early last month, two version updates for SoulCalibur VI have since been rolled out. Version 1.51 was out September 4 and contained several adjustments that correct unintended behaviors from Cassandra and one specific interaction with Azwel. Version 1.52 followed up on September 17 and was a small bug fix to correct the Xbox One version from leaving the player hanging when the game fails to read network data. If you've been playing SC6 anytime since the past week online, then you should already have these updates installed.

SoulCalibur VI v1.50 patch notes

The last character in SoulCalibur VI's first Season Pass is finally here, Cassandra joins the game in the latest Version 1.50 update to the game. The update is already live on several platforms with the full details of the contents available on the SC6 Steam community page. Looks like they finally added a way to continually rematch an opponent in casual/lobbies, as well as several other much appreciated QOL improvements. If you own the Season Pass, you can start playing with the new DLC character as soon as the character unlock is available from your region's online store.

New Season of SoulCalibur VI announced, guest character Haohmaru included

A new season for SoulCalibur VI begins; New gameplay additions, new stages, a new Season Pass and a new guest character. Haohmaru from Samurai Shodown is now confirmed to be on his way to the game as a guest character included in Season Pass 2! Three other fighters are also included with each of them coming eventually throughout the year and bundled with a set of character creation parts. This new season of gameplay changes and content additions ensures that SoulCalibur VI continues to see continued, ongoing developer support.
