Kayane's Interview with Motohiro Okubo from EVO 2018

A new interview with Soul Calibur 6's producer Motohiro Okubo from this past Evo has now gone live thanks to Kayane. A lot of interesting and direct questions regarding the game's features and potential future plans like having a demo or beta, patches after launch, frame data in training mode and even on the potential of World Tour being asked in here. This interview serves as the latest development update for Soul Calibur 6 leading up to Gamescom later this month on Aug 21 - 25. Soul Calibur 6 Gameplay & Info Round Up from E3 2018 Sunday

The first day of E3 has now come to pass and we have some glimpses into the new build of Soul Calibur 6 that the producer Motohiro Okubo brought over. Okubo did a few quick rounds of interviews with the usual gaming media while showcasing all the newer characters, stages and system changes within the build. Soul Calibur 6 - Grøh Character Showcase Video

Hailing from Norway, Groh is a new character in Soul Calibur 6 that wields twin blade during a fight as explained by Motohiro Okubo in the latest character showcase video. From a design stand point, they wanted to represent a Northern European-like demeanor with his cool appearance and overall vibe. His gameplay is unique in the sense that he can separate his twin blades to give him a different set of attacks. Okubo finishes off the video by mentioning that Groh is going to be a very important character in the Soul Calibur 6 story. Soul Calibur 6 - Nightmare Character Showcase Video

Next up on the Soul Calibur 6 character showcase videos is the deeply menacing azure knight, Nightmare. You can hear the game's producer describe the light and dark themes of Soul Calibur 6 with Nightmare representing the series dark side. He also goes on to mention that working on this character in terms of his special attacks & Critical Edge, they feel like Nightmare ends up looking incredibly cool this time around. Oh and it's probably worth mentioning that I believe you can hear the Soul Calibur 6 rendition of Nightmare's theme in the video also.

The EVO Japan interview Kayane conducted with the Soul Calibur 6 producer Motohiro Okubo has now gone live over on Kayane's website.
