Soul Calibur 6 Version 1.20 Update Adjusts Online Ranked and Adds Free Schoolwear Items

DLC Pack #3 for Soul Calibur 6 is a day away but a free update to the game adding compatibility for the pack as well as game mode adjustments is already here. Included inside the update are some free School uniform items for you to use in the Character Creation mode, a bunch of changes to the way you climb ranks and find other players in online Ranked Mode, several QOL fixes and a whole bunch more. If you have the Season Pass for the game, the DLC Pack will go live once the unlock listing for is available on February 19. The full update contents can be found over on the SC6 website.

Summary of Project Soul Talk Event from Evo Japan

A Project Soul Talk Event took place during Evo Japan and the dev team behind Soul Calibur 6 took the opportunity to sit down and chat with the community directly. There were no streams for the discussion but we have reports and photos from the event detailing everything that got mentioned. Topics included were changes coming to the online and matchmaking, QOL improvements, further game content drops and several other stuff. Soul Calibur 6 Ver 1.11 Balance Changes Revealed, Update Arrives January 17

Update: Full Patch notes are now up on the Bandai Namco EU website!

Soul Calibur 6's Version 1.11 update is now coming January 17, as announced on the Soul Calibur twitter account. This update will bring a big wave of balance changes to the cast as well as some further bug fixing to polish up the game further more. Full details on the update aren't out yet but you can check out all the balance changes that Motohiro Okubo posted on his Twitter.

Update Notice of Soul Calibur 6 Version 1.11 Coming January 2019

SC6 already got the 1.10 update but the Soul Calibur team is still focusing on continuing the ongoing effort to improve the game. Version 1.11 is expected to arrive sometime in January after New Years and it is bringing it's own set of gameplay bug fixes and balance change. The update list was posted by the game's producer Motohiro Okubo himself but it is currently incomplete so there's potentially more stuff that might be getting changed soon. The update is a month out from now but this is a simple heads-up that it is coming and that you should probably forward any bugs you find in the game over to Okubo-san.

Soul Calibur 6 Version 1.10 Update is Out Now

Soul Calibur 6 had a bit of a bumpy road from it's launch but the first major patch for the game is out right now to help alleviate gameplay issues. Bugs in the Network and Character Creation modes, load times on the Xbox One, AZERTY keyboard support and a big balancing wave are all included in this particular update. The balance changes sees the entire cast get changes in some way or another so check out the included PDF to see what exactly got changed with your character. The update is live on Steam at least and it weighs in at 5.9 GB but it should be available to download on all platforms on the day of December 17th wherever you are.
