Tekken 7 Version 2.01 Update Fixes Unintended Balancing Issues in Season 2

Update: full notes on the changes made in Version 2.01 have now been added.

Word is out that Tekken 7 on PS4 are now downloading a '2.01' update for the game. The patch notes doesn't say much for it in the update history section but we can probably tell it's for fixing all the balancing errors like Lars' f+2,1 ~ SE 1 being a natural combo and Katarina's ff+2,4 jailing on block. The patch should be out soon for PC players on Steam and Xbox One if it hasn't already been pushed out to everyone so keep an eye out. More details on the update when we get it.

Tekken Bot Prime Updated to Work with Season 2

Once again, thanks goes to WAZAAAAA0 for updating Tekken Bot Prime to work with Season 2. For those who don't know, Tekken Bot Prime is a PC frame data program you run alongside the game to display frame data in real time and makes for learning the frames on the roster much easier. You can download the recently updated Tekken Bot Prime over on the Github releases page right now. Do note that there seems to be some bugs in Season 2 of Tekken 7 so the potential is there for another update to come out and break the program. If in that case, you can check out the issues section on Github to hopefully find updated memory addresses for the latest update of the game in there to make Tekken Bot work again.

Season 2 of Tekken 7 is Now Live on Steam, PlayStation 4 & Xbox One

Hearing word that Season 2 of Tekken 7 is now available to download on most PlayStation 4, Xbox One & PC platforms so check them now for the new update! Like in the overview trailer, Season 2 of Tekken 7 brings a whole slew of big gameplay changes to the roster with a rebalancing wave along with a new added Wall Bounce system mechanic. DLC Store listings for both Lei Wulong and Anna Williams in the Season Pass are now available to buy in the respective online storefronts so get to it if you want to play them out now. Tekken 7 Season 2 Begins September 6 with Anna, Lei & Gameplay Changes

Further details on Tekken 7 Season 2 have been revealed during the Tokyo Tekken Masters event live stream with Harada, Nakatsu and Okubo during the Top 8. The new season of Tekken 7 begins on September 6 with new DLC characters Anna Williams and Lei Wulong added to the roster as well as new gameplay and balance changes to the whole cast. Every character gets new wall bounds which are like Geese's wall bounce attack and potentially more with some characters getting new Rage Drives.
