Word of a new update and the next DLC content coming to SoulCalibur VI is now officially out, and you'll have all the new goodies in your hands by tomorrow. There's lots to cover here but some of the notable additions coming to the game in version 1.40 are:
- Ansel support for the PC version
- Free Tuxedo & Bridal Character Creation Items
- Paid 'Set B' Character Creation DLC Compatibility
- New Color Variations added to the cast in the Character Select Screen
- 'Rank Bolstering' aka having all your characters rise up in ranks when you reach certain thresholds. (Like in Tekken 7)

Reports are coming in, Soul Calibur 6 in some parts of the world is updating to a new 1.30 version bringing a bunch of gameplay improvements. This version also adds DLC compatibility for the next DLC character Amy. There are no official patch notes available at the moment but here are the latest findings from the new patch.

A new update for the arcade version of Tekken 7 is scheduled to arrive in May, as announced by Nakatsu during the Toushinsai event. This update will feature the arrival of DLC character Julia Chang to arcades as well as new player data displays taken from the arcade's online Tekken-net service. Tekken-net will collate your gameplay data to let you see player breakdowns and rankings at a glance. Your Tekken skills is reflected with a new "Tekken Power" number and a web chart that highlights key playstyle areas. It's a little reminiscent of the World Tekken Federation feature from Tekken Tag Tournament 2 if you were around to remember that existing. The Tekken 7 website was updated with a new notice today. Version 2.20, coming February 28th, is expected to introduce the last two remaining DLC characters in the second Season Pass and bring a new wave of balance changes and overall game improvements. There's even the old vanilla version of several stages being added too. For full details on the Version 2.20 update, check the official website for the time being.
