SCLS - Worldwide Soul Edge Ranking Event To Begin

Soul Calibur Lost Swords (PS3) will soon be rolling out an in-game event worldwide where players will be ranked on how many fragments of Soul Edge they find in battles. Should you find yourself high enough on the leaderboards for the event, you may potentially earn pieces of the new "Wolf Breast Armor." To help you tackle some of the quests, equipping any of the White/Dark Knight armor series of equipment will double the damage you do during the event and using either Nightmare/Taki/Ivy will net you a large HP bonus. The competition is to start on the 14th of May at 01:00 PM. (JST)

EVO 2014 SCV and SC2 Side Tournaments

EVO 2014 is fast approaching and to make things more exciting, members of the Soul Calibur community have stepped up to help run side tournaments for both Soul Calibur 5 and Soul Calibur 2 HD Online! The events will be run by the folks at Twin Galaxies and to add further incentive for attendees, several members of the Soul Calibur community have graciously offered contributions to the Pot for both tournaments. With the contributions by Revin122, Jer, TalimJP, Malice & Zane, I believe the Pot Bonus figures for both tournaments are currently at $1000 for SCV and $700 for SC2HDO. This is a great showing from the Soul Calibur community so it would be waste to let them down by not attending, so get to EVO If you can because the event will certainly not be one to miss.

Soul Calibur Unbreakable Soul Out Now, Series Exceeds 14 Million Units Worldwide

Bandai Namco have just today released a new Press Release detailing the recent success of the Soul Calibur series. The SOULCALIBUR franchise has now exceeded over 14 Million Units sold worldwide as of spring this year and is hopefully looking to do extremely well with the recently launched F2P title - Lost Swords. Among that news, Soul Calibur Unbreakable Soul which is a previously announced mobile Soul Calibur game has just *now* been made available to download with game play details about it on the official Soul Calibur website. The game is said to include a revamped battle system in a 3D world, elemental system and over 150 avatars & 200 weapons to customize your characters with it. You can download the game over on the iPhone app store.

Soul Calibur Lost Swords Out Today on PSN

Bandai Namco Games Community Manager J. Kartje ushers in the new free-to-play, PS3 exclusive, single player only Soul Calibur: Lost Swords game on the Playstation Blog. You should be able to find the title to download and play later today when the Playstation Network updates it's game's listings. As added incentive to try the game out, logging into the game within the first four weeks grants you a set of bonus items that you can use in-game as a special gift from the Project Soul development team. SCLS - Worldwide Release Almost Here, Taki Added to the Roster

The worldwide release of the new free-to-play, single-player Soul Calibur game is almost here Namco announces today. The game will be releasing to worldwide territories outside of Japan by the end of this month (No specific date mentioned) and to celebrate the occasion, Taki has been revealed to be featured in the game. This news comes with the new key art you can see above and new images and a trailer for Taki.
