Bandai Namco and Twitch Announces the TEKKEN World Tour

Bandai Namco and Twitch have come together to announce the TEKKEN World Tour. The TWT is a international tournament series with a prize pool of $200,000 with region locked leaderboards across the Americas, Europe & Asia-Pacific which will eventually culminate in the World Tour Grand Finals. Top 5 placers from each region as well as this year's Tekken 7 EVO champion will make up the 16 players in the Grand Finals. Evo Japan's Lead-Up Tournament Sai Player List - Echo Fox Saint in Attendance

EVO Japan's qualifier tournament 賽 [sài] is hosting an arcade Tekken 7 Fated Retribution event and MASTERCUP was able to individually confirm that team Echo Fox's enlisted Tekken player Saint will be there participating. The registration for the tournament recently closed off and the currently registered players were published on the official site and it includes big names in the Japanese Tekken community like AO, Tanukana, Chikurin, TAKE, Nobi, Yuu and a bunch more. There's even the oddball register like Tetsuo on the list. The Sai tournament is taking place in Tokyo, Japan in the Akihabara district on May 20 & 21 so be sure to not miss it when it goes down.

KOIFT 2016 Tokyo Round Qualifier Streamed Live on November 26

The last open qualifier for the King Of Iron Fist Tournament 2016 is on this Saturday in Japan and we have international guests Rip & Tasty Steve over there in person to perform commentary for the English stream. Bandai Namco's Tokyo offices will be the place where many of Japan's notable players will come together to try to get themselves a ticket to the Grand Finals and some of that big tournament prize money. Just like the Osaka Qualifier, there are 3 divisions for the event which consist of a Female group, a Students group and another group that's open to everyone. Top 2 players from the Female division & the Students division will earn the qualifying spot while Top 3 from the Anyone division will make their way to qualify. The Tokyo Round qualifier is set to start at 10:00 AM Japan time on November 26 so for viewers in USA, that's November 25 at 5:00 PM PST. The Bandai Namco Head Office in the UK opened its doors this past Friday to usher in strong Tekken competition for the sake of finding our champion to best represent the region in the Global finals for the King Of Iron Fist Tournament 2016. Manning the commentary station at the event was the team of Bubsy, Ketchup & Mustard guiding the stream throughout the tournament action as it was happening live. King Jae was our man at the event with his recent YouTube channel videos that give us closer vision of the qualifier - catching the hype and excitement from the crowd and even grabbing the people available for interviews so big ups goes to him for the quality content. KOIFT 2016 Osaka Round Qualifier Streamed Live on November 5

"Tekken" place this Saturday in Osaka Japan is the Osaka Round qualifier for the King of Iron Fist Tournament 2016. This is Japan's first leg of the KOIFT qualifiers for the Finals this year and we'll see who our first 3 qualified Japanese players will be by the day's end. The tournament will have 3 divisions - 'Females' 'Students' & 'Anyone' all in 1on1 formats with prize money up for grabs so no messing around here. Unlike last year's event, Osaka Round will now be streamed on both niconico and Twitch live with Markman and Spooky manning the stream for the English side so tune in if you can this weekend.
