The King Of Iron Fist Tournament 2016 North America Finals is Set for Nov 9

Bandai Namco have announced that the finals event for the North American side of The King Of Iron Fist Tournament 2016 is set for November 9, 2016 which is on a Wednesday. Ruby Skye in San Francisco, California will be the venue for the finals and there will be chances for the people in attendance to meet the creators behind the Tekken series, get hands-on time with demos of Tekken 7 and get all sorts of exclusive Tekken merchandising. TKOIFT NA or simply the Tekken Tour has made multiple stops through-out the country over the course of this year and every qualified winner from each event is being gathered in one place to battle it out to see who's the best and win prizes including a trip to Japan to compete in their side of the KOIFT event. For players in the US who haven't qualified for the finals yet, there will be a last chance qualifier to get in a day before the event at Hilton Union Square on Nov 8. King Of Iron Fist 2015 - East Coast USA Qualifier YouTube Archives

The King Of Iron Fist tournament recently concluded the East Coast USA qualifier to find a US representative player to fly to Japan and just like UTXVI, this event unfortunately couldn't be streamed live on Twitch. MASTERCUP.8 Korean Qualifier at Green Arcade on Oct. 24

A brief announcement but DJVamp over on Tekken Central announced that players in Korea are organizing a Korean Tekken 7 Qualifier event in Green Arcade on October 24th for MASTERCUP.8. Twitch is said to be organizing this qualifier with it being streamed on the Green Arcade's Twitch channel. This event will be structured similar to the MASTERCUP tournament format so teams of 5 pair up and the winning team that wins it all earn a free flight, lodging and travel to MASTERCUP.8 to compete. AK from The Philippines Is Invited to the King Of Iron Fist Tournament 2015

In a new update to the official Japanese website for the King Of Iron Fist tournament 2015, it's been brought to light that Tekken child prodigy AK from the Philippines is invited to the Grand Finals event on December 12th. He is listed under the delegation of the TEKKEN 20th Anniversary event so he was selected after his performance in the last year on December 7th. AK will head on to compete against other strong qualified Tekken players like Naps, Nobi, AO and more come this end of the year. The same update on the website also details the total amount of qualifying spots for the Grand final event and they are as follow:

• 11 qualifying players from Japan - 2 of which from the female division. (Yurisan no Hou & Maxi)
• 8 qualifying players from Korea
• 2 qualifying players from EVO 2015 - Nobi & AO.
• 2 qualifying players from North America - West Coast (Mr. Naps) & East Coast (Oct 18th.)
• 3 qualfyiing players from Europe - Paris Games Week (Oct 29th.)
• Tekken's 20th Anniversary Event performer - AK from the Philippines.

King Of Iron Fist 2015 - Osaka & Tokyo Challenge Results

Both the first phase Japanese qualifiers for the King Of Iron Fist tournament 2015 have concluded and the results are now here. The winners of each 3on3 student division as well as 3on3 general teams division will proceed into the 2nd phase of the qualifier called 'JAPAN ROUND' on the 21st of November. The winner of each female division for these qualifier event skip the Japan round and are entered into the Grand Final event on December 12th alongside Nobi and AO.
