Tekken 7 Fated Retribution Round 2 Launches into Arcades on February 13

The Round 2 update for Tekken 7 FR in arcades now has a release date, according to a new notice posted on the Tekken-Official website. The Round 2 update, which brings over characters, stages and balance changes from the console/PC versions of Tekken 7, will now arrive in arcades on February 13. The FR update to arcade Tekken 7 came out back in July of 2016 but Round 2 will be when they'll catch up with content from both Season Passes 1 and 2. If you happen to have access to a local arcade Tekken 7 machine, you can find out what kind of Tekken-Net data carries over from T7FR to T7 Round 2 over on the announcement notice. As of right now; Anna Williams, Lei Wulong, Craig Marduk, Armor King, Noctis Lucis Caelum & Geese Howard will be added in with Round 2. There's no mention of Julia Chang or Negan from The Walking Dead participating at this current time.

Arcade Tekken 7 Fated Retribution Round 2 Officially Announced

This arcade update for Tekken 7 FR was previously covered but has now been officially announced during the MASTERCUP.10 event. There's a new teaser site and promotional video out there for it but the main points behind this update is bringing all the Season 1 & 2 content from the home versions of Tekken 7 over to the arcades in Japan. Like the previous arcade listing for the update, the Round 2 update is currently scheduled for February of 2019. In other news, Tekken 7 celebrates 3 million sales with some new artwork from the stream. In total, the Tekken franchise has now surpassed over 47 million units sold worldwide across all the games in the series.

Arcade "Tekken 7 Fated Retribution Round 2" Slated for February 2019

Update: Rumors of this upcoming arcade update has seemingly surfaced on the Japanese TekkenBBS site. I can't personally verify it's authenticity but for the sake of coverage, I've added and translated it down below.

Round 2 of Tekken 7 Fated Retribution is scheduled to release early next year, as details for a new arcade version of the game surface online. The full official title is "TEKKEN7 FATED RETRIBUTION ROUND 2" and it could potentially see the release of Season 2 content from the home versions of Tekken 7 carried over to Japanese arcades. This would maybe include the 5 characters included in Tekken 7's Season Pass 2 featuring Anna Williams, Lei Wulong and 3 other characters incorporated into a new version. There's not much else detailed about the release of this new arcade cabinet beyond that orders for arcade operators end on October 31st. Location testing details for the new arcade version of Tekken 7 should come in the near future, perhaps an announcement at the upcoming Mastercup.10?

Tekken 7 Story Mode Costumes & Bear Recolors Now Available in the Arcades

The line of new content coming to arcades and not the home versions of Tekken 7 continues with today's newest additions to the arcade Tekken-net web shop. A set of Kuma & Panda recolors are now available to get which look based on a Halloween attire followed by a golden recolor for the bears. Some of the Tekken 7 story mode specific outfits which only appear on the home versions are being transported to the arcades also featuring Nina's leather suit, Kazuya's evil eye, Jin's rug cloak thing and Heihachi's appearance during the final part of the Story mode (spoilers oops).  Once again, these additions are only for Tekken players in the arcades so no word yet if the players playing at home will be able to use any of these for the time being.

New Set of Tekken 7 Character Art Panels are Dropping into Arcades on April 26

The arcades are set to receive a new batch of character art panels on April 26, the Tekken official website announces. These art panels are drawn by various artists at Bandai Namco and can be equipped as your character customization to use during the VS load screen. The older character art panels that were made for the console version of the game featuring international artists are also making their way to the arcades so everyone there can truly appreciate Mister Cartoon's King. There is no word yet on when these new artwork will be coming to the console version of the Tekken 7 but here's a small gallery of all the new art coming to Arcade Tekken 7 Fated Retribution.
