Tekken 7 Fated Retribution - Official Niconico Stream on August 1

An official niconico stream by Bandai Namco games revolving around the newly revealed characters; Bob and Master Raven has been announced. Taking place on the 1st of August at 8 PM Japan time, Tekken project members Katsuhiro Harada, Nakatsu & Mishimastar will make an appearance on the broadcast to show off and demonstrate the new characters and detail the latest news on upcoming updates to Tekken 7 Fated Retribution as well as the global 'KING OF THE IRON FIST TOURNAMENT 2016' taking place later this year. The Tekken Girls Club are also set to make an appearance during the broadcast in their cosplay outfits like usual. Battle Arena Melbourne 8 | Australian Fighting Game Tournament on May 13 - 15

The weekend after this weekend (May 13 - 15) is Australia's eighth annual Battle Arena Melbourne which is going to be a 3-day fighting game event in Melbourne's inner city. A Capcom Pro tour event, DOA5LR's Battle Royal 2016 qualifier and now recently announced Tekken 7 tournament with a $1,000 pot bonus courtesy of Bandai Namco Entertainment. I myself am personally participating at the event so I hope to see everyone there! The King Of Iron Fist Tournament 2015 Announced

The big announcement is here, Bandai Namco have announced that they're organising 'THE KING OF IRON FIST TOURNAMENT 2015.' This is a largescale tournament that they are organising with about 80,000 dollars worth of prizes to the contestants. The game played in this tournament is Tekken 7 and the tournament is to be held later this year. The trailer for the announcement of this tournament is now available for viewing and right now all that we know are that competitors from 'East Asia' and the 'globe' will be competing. We'll have to see soon on what they plan to fully do. For now, you can catch the announcement trailer below.

Soul Calibur Series Character Popularity Poll

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe is hosting a Soul Calibur series popularity vote on the official SoulCalibur Facebook page and they want the player's opinions on which character from the series is the most popular. The poll which was recently open gives everyone the chance to think over and vote for their characters from now until the end of this month (May 31st). It should go without saying that to participate in the vote, you need to have a Facebook account to send your player feedback which ends up in Bandai Namco as player research data. Alongside the poll, the Facebook page also teases that Project Soul is preparing something huge for the series so this may well be worth keeping an eye on if you're a fan of the series. And hopefully it's something not related to Lost Swords.

TEKKEN 7 Playable at the Japan Amusement Expo 2015

The Japan Amusement Expo event ran by the people behind the annual 'Arcade Operators Union' event in Japan is set to occur in Japan on the 14th of February which is the Saturday after this weekend. Bandai Namco have announced through the Japanese gaming press that they plan to have exhibits for both of their latest arcade works: TEKKEN 7 and POKKEN tournament. A thing to note about the event is that Namco sent in pictures of a new build that they're going to exhibit at the event so this may be the chance we've all been looking for to look at a new Tekken 7 build with Lucky Chloe and Shaheen which will be out in Japanese arcades on the 18th of February.
