Rise Of Incarnates Jump Festa Trailer + Release Date Moved to 2015

Rise Of Incarnates, the upcoming free-to-play 3D Arena fighting styled game being made by the San Francisco branch of Bandai Namco Games in California got a new trailer this week from the Jump Festa event in Japan. The trailer introduces a new fighter: Brad Burrell who has Fenrir as his 'Daimone' into the game for players to use. Interestingly enough to add however is that the video description of this trailer mentions that the game is now expected to launch in 2015 from the previous penned 'late 2014' release timing. Tekken 7 Arcade Set For February 2015 Release

If you remembered earlier, there was to be several business meetings this week inside Bandai Namco regarding upcoming arcade games set for release. I've just received early reports from the event that the arcade release of Tekken 7 is set for release on February 2015 next year. This is presumably info pertaining to the Japanese release of the game but if there's confirmation of Tekken 7 in other regions, it should be coming in the near future. Sources below.

TEKKEN 7 - Next Numbered Installment of Tekken Series Announced

Straight from EVO 2014, Tekken series producer Katsuhiro Harada announces the next numbered installment of the series - Tekken 7. The announcement comes with a small teaser video featuring what is presumably Kazumi Mishima who I believe is Kazuya's mother. Additionally, an earlier leak on AOL.com showed a video with Harada saying that the engine of Tekken 7 will be powered by Unreal Engine 4 which will allow the team to develop the game for several different platforms. Minor speculation on my part but since Tekken 7 will now be using UE4, it's not farfetched to see a PC release of the title in the future. You can watch the announcement video below. More details on Tekken 7 will be coming on July 25th at the San Diego Comic-Con event.

Namco Bandai Holdings to Close Down 20 Japanese Game Centers

Namco Bandai Holdings. company president Shukuo Ishikawa revealed yesterday that 20 Namco owned, Japanese Game Centers (Arcades) are to be closed down by the end of March due to unprofitability. This comes to a 10% cut reduction to the amount of Namco owned game center facilities which is said to be at 225 at the end of last year. It's mentioned that the reduction in the average young person in Japan using cars and the upcoming April consumption tax increase for Japan will lead to an estimated 1 billion yen cost increase to the company year over year. Additionally, Namco have adjusted their March 2014 consolidated balance sheet with a downward revision from 29 Billion yen to 25.5 Billion yen due to the loss of these stores. Sales of 485 billion yen and an operating profit of 45 billion yen remains however.

Soul Calibur 2 HD Release Date and Price Announced

@NamcoBandaiUK recently tweeted the release date for SC2 HD and it's coming on November 20th. It'll be priced at $20 in NA, £13.49 XBLA/£14.99 PSN in UK, and €18.99 in Europe. They released another trailer match pitting Mitsurugi and Maxi against each other. Check it out below.
