TEKKEN 7 - Next Numbered Installment of Tekken Series Announced

Straight from EVO 2014, Tekken series producer Katsuhiro Harada announces the next numbered installment of the series - Tekken 7. The announcement comes with a small teaser video featuring what is presumably Kazumi Mishima who I believe is Kazuya's mother. Additionally, an earlier leak on AOL.com showed a video with Harada saying that the engine of Tekken 7 will be powered by Unreal Engine 4 which will allow the team to develop the game for several different platforms. Minor speculation on my part but since Tekken 7 will now be using UE4, it's not farfetched to see a PC release of the title in the future. You can watch the announcement video below. More details on Tekken 7 will be coming on July 25th at the San Diego Comic-Con event.

It seems to be hinting that "Final Battle" means last encounter between hei and kaz
SFxT got both announced/teased and shown gameplay of 2 years in a row at Comic-Con, so I wouldn't be surprised that is where Tekken X SF also will be shown.
Can't wait for this game to come out in two years on console after the koreans and japanese have gotten far ahead of everyone else.

Oh well, Namco will probably just run the game by having 10 billions characters with 50 gajillion moves each with no chance for any normal human being to actually get a grasp of the game. I'M SO FUCKING DONE WITH TEKKEN!!!!

Also, get rid of the cheap and confusing characters like Hwoarang, Lei, Eddy and Yoshimitsu and other stupid characters with 250 moves, that are just confusing and annoying. They're just based on people not knowing what the fuck is going on.
And we don't want Eddie AND Christie, Ling AND Miharu, double Jacks, Roger AND Alex and so on and on. One of each playstyle is more than enough.
And please do something about the long combos. It's just retarded to see a 20 second long combo that take 70% life. We should be able to break it one way or the other. Here's my suggestion; Have a new meter of some sort that builds by either taking hits or doing unsafe moves, and when it's full it can be used to either break a combo or make your next hit a counterhit. This will add to the gameplay. Make it happen, I know you read this commentsection.

If your reading this, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!! Don't pull a Soul Calibur V time leap, I don't want this fucking Jin X Xiaoyu love bullshit, she was better off with Shin Kamiya, please end the story with Jin successfully putting an end to The Mishima Bloodline, I really hope Jin commits suicide to stop The Cursed Bloodline once and for all, no continuation of The Family Line, no Jin and Xiaoyu descendent/child, and no new cast of characters like Soul Calibur V, I'd be happy if everything shifts to Asuka Kazama making her the new main character.
But PLEASE don't do this to me! And I'm also ON MY KNEES begging to you to show us Tekken X Street Fighter! I'm dying to play it! I've seen the signs; Soul Calibur V Critical Edges (Street Fighter Super Arts), Eliza's Gameplay (Ryu's Hadouken Prototype Mechanic) I think I see how it may look!

On a serious note, I really hope using Unreal engine means they can bring this game to PC. I would also enjoy a smaller cast with slightly fewer moves each! But that's almost given, they can't have all the chars from TTT2 in T7.
Can't wait until 25th July. If they don't show any gameplay then, I'll be somewhat pissed. Does anybody have other useful inside rumors? Anything at all?
Thank God for a Tekken 7 announcement! I had to give up TTT2 because of the ridiculous damage taken just by being juggled to death into a wall and then pulverised by the tag character. Unless you memorise every single move of every character I found it too hard to compete on even a basic level. Very hard for an average gamer who hasnt got the time to fine tune every move and learn about frame data etc.
Being an old gamer I actually remember having amazing battles in the arcade and console playing Tekken2 and Tekken3 with my friends, but it just got more and more convoluted with the insane juggles abd bound system. Please please simplify it a little and make it more accessible for average gamers to get back into it.

kazuya says to heichachi 'you killed my mother' in the teaser, so the woman can't be kazumi. also the woman says that heihachi was born with her powers, so that would not make sense either. maybe it is heihachis mother, jinpachis wife.
