IeSF 2017 | 9th Esports World Championship Streamed Live on November 11

Taking place later today is the 9th Esports World Championship hosted by the International Esports Federation in Busan, Korea. This is a global scale competition for Tekken 7 as qualifiers for this world championship was hosted across 23 countries to find the world's best to compete in Korea. Tekken 7 at the EWC has already progressed to the quarterfinal stages off stream and among the players representing at the event are Jeondding (S.Korea), Book (Thailand), Doujin (Philippines) Kor_nnova (New Zealand) & more so you can expect strong competition. The Tekken 7 tournament finals day starts at 10 AM Korean time (5 PM PST) and finishes with the finals at around 8 PM (3 AM PST.) Premium PV Unveiled for Japanese 5on5 T7FR Tournament - MASTERCUP.9

MASTERCUP.9 is inching closer and closer this month! The 5on5 Japanese Tekken 7 Fated Retribution team tournament brings together the world's largest amount of Tekken players to champion the strongest Tekken team on the planet. As of right now, registration numbers for the tournament total a staggering 207 teams of 5 players entered resulting with 1035 players expected to come out to Tokyo, Japan to battle it out. MASTERCUP.9 is once again going to broadcast the event live on Twitch with commentary so this is an event to not miss out on when the festivities start. DreamHack Denver 2017 - Tekken 7 Tournament YouTube Archives

DreamHack Denver 2017 was the latest stop in the Tekken World Tour as a US Regional event. As such, the top three placers in this Tekken 7 tournament would easily guarantee themselves a spot in the top 5 of the region leaderboard to qualify for the TWT Finals. With a free trip to San Fransisco to compete on the line, a lot of top US Tekken talent came out to compete at DreamHack Denver. The players you can expect to see here are Anakin, Jimmy J Tran, Speedkicks, Joey Fury, Spero Gin and plenty more. The event was streamed live and featured commentary from Aris, Markman & Spooky. Almost 1000 players have entered MASTERCUP.9!

Celebrating 10 years of MASTERCUP tournaments, MASTERCUP.9 is taking place next month with now over 990 players entering! The ninth MASTERCUP tournament in Japan will see the world's largest ever Tekken tournament with the latest Tekken 7 Fated Retribution game being featured. Registration for the tournament opened back on September 3rd but since then over 190 teams of 5 players have poured in to sign up for the monolithic tournament. MASTERCUP.9 is taking place on the 25th next month following the TWT Global Finals making it the big closing month for competitive Tekken for the whole year. You can expect to tune into MASTERCUP.9 live on Twitch with full commentary in November so look out for more details on the that soon. NorCal StrongStyle Returns February 10-11, 2018

And it's back! StrongStyle 2018 is taking place February 10/11, 2018 at the DoubleTree by the Hilton Hotel in San Jose, California. It's been 3 years since the last StrongStyle event but this dedicated Tekken tournament series will see Tekken 7 being played when it comes back in early 2018. Team Spooky and the 10/0 team will be organizing the production behind the event with EightArc and Qanba USA sponsoring the event. In the words of NSS subt-L, this event will be streamed live this time so you won't miss it but you'll still want to be in the event in person. Can personally confirm, StrongStyle~5 was a great event looking back at Tekken Tag Tournament 2's life. Look out for more news and info on the tournament later as we get closer to the date.
