Ultimate Tournament XVI Announcement - It's Back on October 17th

Ultimate Tournament XVI - This year's installment of the largest Tekken tournament in France can now be announced to be taking place on the 17th of October this year! It is set to be held in Pourrieres, France near the port city of Marseille located at the southern side of the French country. This will be no doubt, a big event for Tekken in Europe and the competition will be the strongest it has ever been for this time around. Europe will have to pool it's players together to defend their turf against the incoming Japanese, Korean, American and even Venezuelan players coming in to take home the victory. A victory which is being guaranteed to be worth at least €800 which is being given out amongst the top placers at the event. Mark the date: Saturday, 17th of October as it'll be a Tekken event not to miss this year!

Next Tekken Crash To Be Aired on July 5th!

Update: Official post on the eSportsTV Board has further details on Tekken Crash! Twitch is sponsoring the event and the entire season of Tekken Crash (July -> September) will be streamed on Twitch! The Twitch streams (no URL yet) will go live every Sunday at 7:00PM Korean time starting from July 16th. The July 5th episode will be the preliminary qualifier for the season.

Tekken Crash, the recently brought back TV show centered on Tekken in Korea has a date set for it's next episode. July 5th is the day it goes live according to the recent quick promotional video uploaded on ESportsTV and will no doubt feature great Tekken players in Korea. As of right now I'm not too sure if there's plans to broadcast this episode on the internet like the last time but if there is info on it, we'll report it hopefully soon.

Yuu & Nobi Now Sponsored by ORZ and Will Be Going to Evo 2015

Nobi just recently notified his twitter that both himself and Yuu are now both being sponsored by the Otaku React Zest group in Japan. ORZ will be sending both Yuu & Nobi to EVO 2015 this year in Las Vegas to represent Japan in Tekken! They will no doubt be participating in the Tekken 7 tournament so they will be strong contenders for taking the event. These two players are among the top Tekken players in Japan so it'll be interesting to see how they perform at the event. And just so you know, these aren't the only international players coming over to play Tekken 7 at Evo that I hear of, but that's an announcement for another day. Expect fierce competition at Evo this year everyone!

Tekken 7 Tournament Being Held at Japan Expo in Paris

Harada mentioned awhile back on Twitter that he will be attending France's Japan Expo event in July and we now have confirmation from the official Tekken Facebook page that he will be bringing Tekken 7 with him for attendees at the event to play. They're hosting an actual tournament for the game too over there so this makes for a good opportunity to get a good handle of the game while there. TTT2 Side Tournament Being Organised at Evo 2015

While Tekken 7 is being featured as part of EVO 2015's main game line-up, there are still people playing TTT2 since it is still the latest Tekken game available to play for everybody. As such, TheGreatNeoX has announced that he'll be stepping forward to organise a side tournament for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 on the Friday of Evo weekend (17th of July). This tournament will feature a top 8 pay-out as well as small 'Missions' to complete during the tournament that may also reward you for your efforts. So if you happen to be at Evo this year, why not try your luck? I also hear that certain players from Asia coming over may also be interested in participating so it can pose a fierce challenge for home turf.
