Tekken: Revenge Of Kazuya Live Action Film to hit Blu-Ray & DVDs on August 12

Tekken: Revenge Of Kazuya is a new live action Tekken movie which is a prequel to the 2010 movie of TEKKEN. This latest movie was once formally known as 'TEKKEN - A Man Called X' and starred Kane Kosugi in the lead role with Prachya Pinkaew (Ong Bak) directing. The recent Amazon listing (which has now pulled pre-order links) for 'Tekken: Revenge Of Kazuya' shared the poster you can see above, a new change of directors (Wych Kaosayananda) and some of the actors who will join Kane Kosugi in the film such as; Kelly Wenham, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Gary Daniels, Biljana Misic, Charlotte Kirk and Ron Smoorenburg. Tekken: Revenge Of Kazuya is set for release on Blu-Rays and DVDs on the 12th of August this year. A trailer for the film should be appearing online shortly.

AK Acquires New Sponsorship, Might Go to EVO Depending on SEA Major Performance

Alexandre “AK” Laverez - the so called 'child Tekken prodigy' that you may remember after getting 3rd in last year's Global Championships has recently gotten sponsored by the SMM Philippines Multimedia company. With this sponsorship, he's gotten a free, all-expenses-paid trip to SEA Major 2014 which is being held in Singapore on the 20th of June which is roughly a month away. Depending on how he performs in that tournament, the sponsorship announcement teases that AK may also earn himself a trip to EVO 2014 in Las Vegas potentially adding to the international competition that are said to be attending EVO such as AO (JP), Chikurin (JP) & BooK (TH). High Stakes TEKKEN Weekend SUMMER 2014 ATLANTA

ATL Gamer Society originally announced this tournament with a $2,500 guaranteed pot payout at EVO weekend on account of the news of Tekken not being included into this year's EVO tournament. Since then, EVO has later added TTT2 back into EVO leaving the dates of these two tournaments clashing for players interested in traveling to either of these tournaments. The ATL Gamer Society website now offers new details on the tournament saying that the tournament has been pushed back to the weekend after (July 18-19, 2014) to ease concerns of date clashing. Among that, $2,500 pot payout is still guaranteed and players like Lil Majin, Anakin, Kor, Inkognito and more are confirmed to be participating in the tournament. DOUBLE CUP MASTERCUP W1 CLIMAX2014 Announced

DOUBLE CUP is the next newly announced tournament that MASTERCUP is going to be organising this year in the Hokuriku region of Japan. The tournament has a hefty name so everybody will just abbreviate this tournament to "W杯" - W CUP (get it? W sounds like 'daburu.') Anyways, the tournament will be a 3on3 team format tournament with an initial cap of 42 teams totaling 126 players. Its going to be held inside Hokuriki's Bypass Leisureland Arcade on the 20th of July this year and given it's location, Double Cup may not be streamed. Like all other Mastercup tournaments though, the official YouTube channel will surely be uploading match videos from Double Cup so you can at least look forward to that.
