Rise Of Incarnates Jump Festa Trailer + Release Date Moved to 2015

Rise Of Incarnates, the upcoming free-to-play 3D Arena fighting styled game being made by the San Francisco branch of Bandai Namco Games in California got a new trailer this week from the Jump Festa event in Japan. The trailer introduces a new fighter: Brad Burrell who has Fenrir as his 'Daimone' into the game for players to use. Interestingly enough to add however is that the video description of this trailer mentions that the game is now expected to launch in 2015 from the previous penned 'late 2014' release timing. TEKKEN's 20th Anniversary Thanksgiving Event Announced

The TEKKEN franchise is celebrating it's 20th Anniversary this month and Bandai Namco has announced that they're holding a 'Thanksgiving' event for all fans of the series to celebrate. The niconico broadcast of this event will feature the latest Tekken game: TEKKEN 7 with a 'Exhibition Tournament' featuring some 'world champions' of the series. Of course, the latest news on TEKKEN 7 will be revealed in the event as well as have special guests Katsuhiro Harada and Yuriko Tiger in the broadcast. There are to be more special guests in the event but they haven't yet been announced. The niconico stream of this event will occur on the 7th of December, 2014 and run from 12:30 PM until 6:00 PM Japan time.

New Female Character Revealed for Tekken 7

Revealed on the Madcatz TGS stream.

• Named 'Catalina.'
• Playable at the upcoming October location tests.
• From Latin America.
• 'Beginner friendly' character.
• Sassy mouthed talker, will be vocal in-game.
• Fighting style is Savate.

Tekken 7 will feature 2 new 'systems' added into the game. The team is focused on bringing back 'Tekken's true essence' into Tekken 7 after Tekken Tag Tournament 2 which was devoted to the hardcore playerbase.

There is another 'yet to be revealed' character to be playable at the October location test, is described to have an emphasis on a new mechanic which the Tekken team hasn't tried before but you may be familiar with in 2D fighting games.

Tekken 7 Location Test Announced, Will Be Held in Japanese Namco Arcades in October!

Just announced on the Namco Sugamo Cup stream by Katsuhiro Harada, the location test for the new Tekken 7 will be held in Japanese arcades in October next month. On the 3rd, 4th and 5th of October, Namco Sugamo arcade in Tokyo and the Namco Nipponbashi arcade in Osaka will house Tekken 7 cabinets and allow people to play the new game on free play mode. Tekken 7 will include the ability to play against opponents locally in the arcade and also online against other players at different arcades through the internet. Players at the arcades will also be able to collect special designer banapass cards with the Tekken 7 render of Kazuya & Heihachi. You can look forward to camera video uploads and maybe a possible niconico stream of Tekken 7 in October.

New Tekken 7 Announcement will be made at the Namco Sugamo Cup

Katsuhiro Harada just tweeted that the upcoming Namco Sugamo Cup event this weekend will feature an appearance by Harada himself and also that he will be bringing a new announcement regarding Tekken 7 with him to the event! The Namco Sugamo Cup for those who don't know, is a 3 day event that the Namco Sugamo arcade in Japan is running that features a True Tekken God, Nobi VS Take 'concept match', followed by a 3on3 tournament then lastly a beginner tournament over the span of 3 days. The Namco Sugamo Cup is occurring this weekend starting from the Saturday up until the Monday in Japan at the Namco Sugamo game center with the Tekken 7 announcement being made and streamed on niconico during the 3on3 Tournament event. Since it's on niconico, I'll be sure to put up the archives on YouTube eventually.
