Tekken 7 - Josie Rizal Unlocked for Arcades on April 21st!

The newest character that was revealed for Tekken 7 is set to be unlocked in arcades (Japanese ones at least, Korea seems to be delayed.) on April 21st from the recent update on the Tekken Official website. For those who don't know, Josie Rizal is a fighter hailing from the Phillipines with the Eskrima and basic kick boxing fighting style. She was designed by Mari Shimazaki who you may remember from Bayonetta and the name was suggested by MarkMan as a homage to José Rizal. You can look forward to seeing her in matches and hopefully a complete movelist/combo rundown in Practice mode next Tuesday. (April 21, 2015)

Special Tekken 7 niconico Broadcast on March 29 Featuring Harada

On March 29 which is this Sunday, Bandai Namco will be holding an online Tekken 7 event which will be streamed on niconico. This broadcast will feature special guests: Katsuhiro harada, cosplayers Hinako Sano, Yuriko Tiger, Gen - The Japanese Bob/Leo player who got 2nd at EVO2014 and other secret guests not yet revealed. The online Tekken 7 event will give players the chance to earn a 'rare' Mokujin styled 'Player Plate' to use in-game on the loading screen should those players win in the event. This is also the broadcast/event that Harada mentioned on the previous ATP Live episode as having special announcements such as the next batch of time release characters coming to Tekken 7 so you wouldn't want to miss out on this. Tekken 7 'Just Before Launch' Special YouTube Broadcast

Update: Show is complete and uploaded onto YouTube. The announcement was that Bandai Namco is organizing a online Tekken 7 event on March 29. This event will allow everyone in the country to play everyone else throughout the country. There's going to be a niconico broadcast on the event which will feature new information on Tekken 7 inside it. More details on it will come out in the future.

Tekken 7 is less then a week away from being completely launched out in arcades and Namco is organising a special 'Just before' web broadcast for the occasion. On the show, Tekken's head producer Katushiro Harada and special cosplayer guests Kinako Sano & Yuriko Tiger will be present to play some matches and discuss the new character design of Lucky Chloe. Additionally there's also going to be new 'Tekken Event' related news announced on the show and who knows what else. Tekken 7 Arcade 'Real Launch' Version is Set for March 18!

Bandai Namco have announced that Tekken 7's 'real' launch version of the game will be available a month after the pre-launch version: March 18th. This version of the game will have more content which includes Local offline play, training mode and perhaps the first batch of time release characters and stages. This launch version will also be available outside of Japan for other countries and regions that still have arcades so a wider amount of players will be able to finally get their hands on the game and play it. If you're an arcade owner, Namco is accepting orders for the Tekken 7 machines from now until the 26th of Feb with the game being activated on March 18th at 7:00 in the morning Japan time. Additionally, Bandai Namco has also opened a new Tekken 20th Anniversary website which counts down to the release of the game next month. You can see it here:
