If theres still no hype on this event I will confirm the community of this series is dead. This site even says japan time which means this sunday here in asia. I wonder though, will rip, aris, themainmanswe, ak, knee, saint, jdcr and justframejames will attend this event?
Tekken died with TTT2 because that cunt Harada fucked the series up with inhuman amout of bullshit. Tekken as of now is just a clusterfuck of invisible moves you cannot react to and thus create too much random bullshit with. Too many characters ruin the series. Clones? LOL.How the fuck did they come up with that stupid idea?
Some characters are sp cheap it's mindboggeling. Bob, Lars, Hwoarang. Other characters are based on just confusing opponent so they wont know what the fuck is going on, like Yoshi, Zaf, Eddie and so on. What's the poit of that? How about creating a decent fighter with about 35 characters which have 50-100 moves each so you'll learn them and know what the fuck is happening. There's a reson capo-clones always come on top of every major event.
Fuck Harada, Fuck Tekken. I hope T7 sucks so this series can die and Harada commits harakiri.
The worst thing in the FGC is...the FGC. Hate mail when you win AND lose. Why bother playing and being associated with such degenerates. And its true, the lack of hype is a very bad sign. In this day and age, where Call of Duty is king, who is going to play chess? Yes, tekken is chess, you have to count every frame, and learn every punish. Maybe armor will act as a short-cut to help beginners. And playing without a joystick is futile. Either way, tekken is done.
Hey Cunty McCunt, you're a dick. Kappa
Would have been nice for them to release the game on the 20th Anniversary on consoles and arcades. Instead we get a photo op.
I would have liked if Tekken 7 was with no juggles at all. Instead they should have made it look very real-life-like AND add a lot of sparks and what not. This would have been cool as fuck.
And if there was a trade the whole screen or the whole stage would shake, as if two Gods would fight each other. But all without juggles, to keep it fairly realistic.
I'm looking forward to this event. Hope we'll see some new fresh Tekken 7 gameplay not that 240p Stream location test quality.
(even tho it will be streamed at NicoNIco again. Let's hope it's at least 720p or they diuble stream it on twitch too)
20 years of Tekken, no major anouncement. Glad i found this one but it's very quiet outside of "community hubs"...
Bad sign compared to all the PROPER PR & Marketing self respecting game publishers do for even a yearly released title.
Namco streams on Nico Nico but can't find Twitch?
Namco couldn't contact the folks at Evo, Strongstyle, Neo Empire to set up US / Euro streams in the same weekend?
They couldn't even ask Team Spooky to get something going and throw in some goodies?
Compare Capcom to Namco... I don't even like Capcom games but they got their community act together.
Since i remember from 1998 when i entered this tournament thing Namco has never really changed their corporate culture.
After about 50 million units sold and 20 years. Yes, 20 YEARS A LIFE of this franchise....
.Namco is disgustingly cheap on their PR budget.
This shit ain't over yet, mark my words. D.K, Amsterdam.
