Lee / Miguel Build of Tekken 7 Playable at York Street Battles in Sydney

The latest build of Tekken 7 on PS4 is making its way across to multiple places and more events have now started coming forward and confirming the new Tekken 7 build as making an appearance. The 48th numbered York Street Battles taking place in the city of Sydney in Australia has recently announced that the new Tekken 7 build is present at the venue and open for everyone to check out. For players in the region, this is your opportunity to get hands on with the new characters; Lee & Miguel on the new version as well as check out the competition in Sydney's FG scene so be sure not to miss out. York Street Battles 48 is being held on January 28th and a stream will be prepared over on BlankaEx's Twitch channel.

New Console Tekken 7 Build Featured in Italian Battle Dome Event

Heads-up to everyone in the region, the Tekken Milano group is organizing a FG event called Battle Dome and they're able to announce that Tekken 7 will be playable. Not only that though, but also that Tekken 7 over there will be using the latest updated PS4 version of the game. For those that haven't been keeping up with the game, that means that both Lee & Miguel who were previously announced for the console versions of Tekken 7 will be playable there before the game comes out. Battle Dome is taking place in Milan, Italy on the 11th of February and further details on the event can be found on the Tekken Milano Facebook page.

Console / PC Versions of Tekken 7 is Getting An Online Tournament Mode

[Update] Hi-res images of the Online Tournament mode have now been added.

Also unveiled during the King of Iron Fist Tournament 2016 Tekken stream is news that the Console / PC version of Tekken 7 will have an online tournament mode. This mode will allow players to set up and play each other online (Max of 8 players total per tournament) with a format used in actual offline tournaments. It supports single & double elimination brackets and includes player spectating and voice chat. In game prizes can also be allocated to the winners of the tournament with stuff like gold and items. The King of Iron Fist Tournament 2016 Grand Finals Going Live on December 10

Join us in tuning into the Grand Finals for the King of Iron Fist Tournament 2016. It's been a long time coming but it's time to conclude the year with a big final Tekken tournament to crown our champion of the world. Bandai Namco is organizing an English Twitch stream for the world to tune in and we have a handful of commentators over there in Japan to give us play by plays of the action live. And of course, a new announcement related to the Tekken franchise is expected to take place after all the fierce Tekken competition concludes so there is that to also look forward too. The Grand Finals kicks off in Japan at 9:30 AM Japan time on December 10 (Dec 9 at 4:30 PM PST / 7:30 PM EST) and you can watch it live here:

Final List of Qualified Players for The King of Iron Fist Tournament 2016

The Grand Finals for the King of Iron Fist Tournament 2016 is almost here. Roughly half a year's worth of build up behind it, the long road to Japan will see every qualified player pitted together for the Champion title in the world of Tekken. A majority of the players in the tournament are from Japan and Korea with players from the United States, Europe and South East Asia coming in to compete. All the qualifying tournaments have concluded and we now have our complete list of players making it to the Grand Finals competition. The King Of Iron Fist 2016 is taking place in Tokyo, Japan on December 10th with a stream set-up on the Tekken Twitch.tv channel.
