Tekken 7 UK Championships Announced in Association with ESL

A Tekken 7 tour is coming to the United Kingdom, Bandai Namco has announced today. This upcoming championships will make certain stops in upcoming events in the UK during the months of April & May and will culminate with the best Tekken players the region has to offer at the finals at the ESL Arena during MCM London Comic Con. Hypespotting 6 is officially the first event as part of the championships and will signal the official launch of the tour for the game. While the announcements regarding this year's King of Iron Fist Tournament has yet to be arranged, it should probably be expected that the UK Championships will tie into it in the future. JDCR & Saint Set to Attend Collision 2017 at Lima, Peru on Feb 18-19

The COLLISION Championship Series are happy to announce that two Korean Tekken champions are making their way to the premier tournament series in the city of Lima, Peru. 2016's Evolution and Global Championship grand finalist Saint, is joined by fellow dominant Korean player JDCR as they set out to get revenge on the competition in the region when they make their way to the tournament this month. Alongside those news, Collision 2017 has expanded in a big way from last year's tournament as it has announced that they're including multiple other fighting games as well getting Tekken Project team members Katsuhiro Harada & Michael Murray to confirm their attendance at the event. Not only that, but it also has to be said that the Tekken Brand Manager Mark Religioso as well Tekken community figure MarkMan are making an appearance there. COLLISION 2017 takes places in the capital of Peru this month on weekend of the 18th & 19th and is certainly not going to be an event you want to miss out on so stay tuned for more news from the event as well as live stream info. The World's Largest Tekken Tournament Series MASTERCUP Returns on Nov 4

Celebrating its 10th anniversary of the long running MASTERCUP Tekken tournament series, Mastercup officially announced the dates for MASTERCUP.9 as November 4, 2017! MASTERCUP is a long running Japanese Tekken tournament series which boasts an incredibly high amount of players with the previous installment; MASTERCUP.8 bringing in over 900 players across 180 teams to compete in Tekken 7. MASTERCUP.9 returns this year running Tekken 7 Fated Retribution in Tokyo, Japan and is set to be the biggest tournament yet with hopefully another appearance by the Tekken project team as well as being broadcasted worldwide with a Japanese, Korean & English stream.
