Tekken World Tour Video Interviews from Gamereactor

The large European magazine & gaming site; Gamereactor, were present at the Tekken World Tour this previous weekend and their on-site coverage from the event have now gone online. Included within are a batch of video interviews with the first two being with both Michael Murray and Katsuhiro Harada as they go into their thoughts of the Tekken World Tour as well as offer some developer insights into Tekken 7. The later videos are interviews with most of the qualified players from the tournament as they all detail their thoughts and experiences from the event. Geese Howard, Instant Rematch in Player Matches & Input Lag Updates Coming Soon

Amidst all the hubbub of the newly announced Noctis guest character, it's important to bring forward that during the announcement stream, both Harada and Murray made comments towards upcoming updates for Tekken 7. We did not get an exact date for the release of Geese Howard however he is currently undergoing examinations from 1st parties so expect him to drop on console and Steam real soon once they have been completed. Instant Rematching in Player Lobbies was the next topic with them saying that they're planning on implementing this in an upcoming future update to the game, so they do hear you on that. Last but not least was the Input Lag currently in the game. They remarked that they're currently working with Epic to make changes to help reduce the input lag. No word on how long that will take since it is a big undertaking on their end however they hope to have it out 'within the year.' Those were the other news presented from the stream and I'll have up the archive from the Twitch stream after the finals are over.

JDCR & Saint Set to Attend Collision 2017 at Lima, Peru on Feb 18-19

The COLLISION Championship Series are happy to announce that two Korean Tekken champions are making their way to the premier tournament series in the city of Lima, Peru. 2016's Evolution and Global Championship grand finalist Saint, is joined by fellow dominant Korean player JDCR as they set out to get revenge on the competition in the region when they make their way to the tournament this month. Alongside those news, Collision 2017 has expanded in a big way from last year's tournament as it has announced that they're including multiple other fighting games as well getting Tekken Project team members Katsuhiro Harada & Michael Murray to confirm their attendance at the event. Not only that, but it also has to be said that the Tekken Brand Manager Mark Religioso as well Tekken community figure MarkMan are making an appearance there. COLLISION 2017 takes places in the capital of Peru this month on weekend of the 18th & 19th and is certainly not going to be an event you want to miss out on so stay tuned for more news from the event as well as live stream info. Tekken 7 at Taipei Game Show 2017 with Harada, Murray & Gamerbee

[Update] The stream archive on both Youtube and Twitch have been made private. Oh well. You didn't miss much anyway.

Tekken 7 was featured during Bandai Namco's stage show from Taipei Game Show 2017 today and Tekken project members Harada and Murray were there joined by Gamerbee to show off the game. Absolutely new information wasn't given for the game as expected since we're getting more news on the game in the coming week but little bits and pieces I guess you can say were there. Another avenue to look at the console version on stream with Gamerbee trying Akuma. The event was streamed but the video archive is now up on the YouTube channel.
