While EVO 2016 is almost upon us this week, San Diego Comic-Con will be a few days after featuring a return of the Bandai Namco Fighting Games panel. Tekken's Katsuhiro Harada and Michael Murray are once again expected to be in attendance with Markman acting as panel moderator for the session this year. "Special Guests" is teased for the panel meaning we may also see someone new on the panel alongside Harada and Murray (jbstyle was on last year's SD-CC.) As mentioned on the schedule, you can expect new updates on Tekken 7 as well as upcoming TEKKEN merchandise during SD-CC 2016. A surprising addition to this session is a special discussion on the 20th anniversary of SoulCalibur games. It's been awhile since we've heard from the series and this may finally signal something new incoming after all the previous 'Long Live SOULCALIBUR' teasing. Who knows what that might entail but the panel will not be one to miss for those who can make it out and attend. Bandai Namco's Fighting Games Panel 2016 is taking place in San Diego Comic-Con on July 22nd (Friday) at 1:00 PM

Tekken Talk Episode 2 with special guests Katsuhiro Harada and Michael Murray from the Tekken team is now up on YouTube. Lots of interesting topics discussed such as the PC version of Tekken 7, Tekken X Street Fighter, Tekken Ball, post launch support, console/PC cross play and a bunch more. I'm going to throw this out there and say I'm all for post launch support for Tekken as it keeps things fresh and exciting and makes people come back for new content. Whether it is small things like new costumes & customizations or maybe something big like a game expansion that adds more Street Fighter characters turning it into Tekken X Street Fighter. (Don't go wild with that idea please internet, I'm not saying they're going to do that haha.) And of course, hearing that Harada himself is a big PC gamer and that all features that you can come to expect from a standard PC game are to be expected is very reassuring news for the PC version in comparison to certain other games with poor quality PC ports in recent times. This is getting quite lengthy so I'll stop here but you can catch the whole interview over on Bandai Namco's Fight channel:

Taking place last month, Combo Breaker was a big event that was part of the official Tekken Tour on the road to the King Of Iron Fist North America Finals. As per usual, video archives of the Tekken 7 tournament are available to watch on the Bandai Namco Fight Channel for those who did not manage to watch the event live. Additionally, a well produced and edited Recap video of the event by Esteban is up that gives you great vision at what it is like being at a big FGC tournament event like Combo Breaker. Highly recommended to watch and for those interested, the next stop for the Tekken Tour is Wizard World Sacramento on June 17 - 19.
