Bandai Namco's global Tekken 7 tournament will be carried out real soon and it will feature Tekken players from different parts of the world. Japan, Korea, Europe, USA & the Philippines have player representatives all looking to take home top place which comes with a huge cash prize from the available 5 million Japanese Yen prize pool. KOIFT 2015 is taking place in Namco's HQ located in Shinigawa, Japan and will be simultaneously broadcasted onto niconico & Twitch.tv for the world to see. The Japanese stream will have commentary by Tekken development team members Harada and Nakatsu alongside Hameko. The English stream will have both Aris and Markman at the helm for commentary. The event will go live at Dec 12 starting at 10 AM Japan time so be sure to tune into the broadcasts when they're live!

Preliminary Round: Round Robin format.
- All 27 players will be split up and inserted into 8 blocks. (blocks of 3 / 4 players?)
- A day before the event, a special Japanese live stream on niconico at 9:00 PM Japan time will have Harada conduct the drawing process for sorting players into each block.

- The preliminary round matches for the tournament is bo3. The winning 8 players from each blocks will move onto the tournament's main phase.
- After the preliminary round, the tournament will move onto a Double Elimination bracket for the 8 winning players.
- The winner of the tournament will be decided in this phase. Top 3 earns cash prizes.
Prize Pool: 5,000,000 Japanese Yen.
1st place: 3,000,000 Japanese Yen. ($25,000 USD roughly)
2nd place: 1,500,000 Japanese Yen. ($12,000 USD roughly)
3rd place: 500,000 Japanese Yen. ($4,000 USD roughly)
