JDCR's Tekken Lesson #1: Let it Go

Reigning EVO Champion and Runner up Global TTT2 World Champion @TKJDCR has started a stream going over Tekken fundamentals. His first video is titled Let it Go, and it covers the mentality for sidestepping. He articulates in English fairly well and even uses the US 4 digit notation to explain moves making it easy to follow along. Namco Sugamo 12/3 Ranking Battles Feat. Mr Naps, JDCR & Saint!

Oh so that's what the Tekken official page meant by having 'world champions' coming in to compete for the exhibition tournament this Sunday for the 20th anniversary. Previous Global Championship's 2013 competitors Saint and JDCR from Korea and Jimmy/Mr Naps from the US are currently in Japan and played in yesterday's Ranking Battles in Namco Sugamo! You can watch how these international competitors fare up against the locals at Namco Sugamo thanks to the Sugamo niconico stream. The Ranking Battle was also followed up with a Saint VS Take deathmatch afterwards but it wasn't all completely streamed unfortunately. (The result of the deathmatch if you're curious.) Help Me's Post-EVO2014 Interview with JDCR

Shortly after his big win at EVO 2014, Help Me took the time to catch up with the EVO champion JDCR and discuss his thoughts on the tournament itself and participating in it. Topics like which players at the tournament he was looking out for, thoughts going up against certain characters and interesting matches get discussed in the interview up on the Tekken Mura website. Since it's in complete Japanese though, I went ahead and roughly translated it for everyone to read.

Tekken Mura Interview with JDCR

Shana's next interview in his series of interviews for the Tekken Mura website features Korea's renowned top player JDCR. In this interview, JDCR goes over how he got into Tekken, his character choices as well as his experiences traveling to other countries to play Tekken. The interview is a bit shorter then Tekken Mura's other interviews but it's still a worthwhile read if you're a fan of JDCR. Age of Renowned Tekken Players Compiled By Kuro Kuro

Since you can find out so much information on Tekken players through their Facebook/Twitter/Zexi pages, Kuro Kuro recently decided to compile an age list of notable players. It's predominately a Japanese players list so you might not know most of the names on this list but there's some notable players outside of Japan that you might know of. The list is structured around fiscal years but it easily shows you how old everyone is. No famous female players included in this list of course, that stuff is top secret.
