JDCR's Tekken Lesson #1: Let it Go

Reigning EVO Champion and Runner up Global TTT2 World Champion @TKJDCR has started a stream going over Tekken fundamentals. His first video is titled Let it Go, and it covers the mentality for sidestepping. He articulates in English fairly well and even uses the US 4 digit notation to explain moves making it easy to follow along. You can catch his stream live on Twitch or see the uploads on his YouTube channel. Full video embedded below.

He says that most moves besides the ones that have fast frames are can be sidestep. he teaches not only offense but defense. It seems he thinks that the west still dont know the concept of tekken so he make a tutorial on real basics, including sidestep and proper mix ups.

It would be nice to have JDCR on the podcast again, Aris, to give us an update on Tekken 7 after Green Game Land gets it. JDCR is my favorite Tekken player! His English is amazing. I wish Knee would learn English, and Nin.

I second the above, getting JDCR on the podcast would be pretty damn cool. Would be interesting to hear what he has to say about tekken 7

Forest: "His English is amazing"

Does "amazing" mean you can understand every word? I am from Germany and I can only accoustically understand 50% of his words. After I viewed JDCRs tutorial, I really did start using sidesteps more often in my gameplay. I almost never used them for my 4,000 online matches xD
