REV Major 2017 was without a doubt one of the best showing of Tekken 7 at tournaments we've seen but it can be hard to feel involved with the players and scene with foreign players making most of the dominanting performance. Language barrier makes things a hurdle so every informant/spy that comes along to give us the juicy details and behind the scenes of what's going on in other Tekken communities is pretty valuable. For most of the viewers watching REV Major, they might not know what's going on with Knee who's known for his Bryan/Mishima play to opt to go and use Feng against his opponents in a tournament. REV Major 2017 - Tekken World Tour Master Event on July 8 & 9 from the Philippines

Taking place this weekend is Rev Major 2017 in the Phillipines. Rev Major is a Tekken World Tour Master Event meaning all qualifying players that perform really well during this Tekken 7 tournament will earn points contributing to their placing on the Asia-Pacific Tekken World Tour leaderboards. New Master II - Brazilian Tekken 7 Tournament on September 16th

Posting notice of a newly announced Fighting Game event set to take place in São Paulo, Brazil later on in September 16th. Titled 'New Master II,' this tournament features both Tekken 7 and Street Fighter V and is being organized under a collaborative effort by the Team New Master and Sons of Asgard groups. Part of the announcement is that for this event, Bandai Namco will be an official event partner and it'll feature a doubled prize pool from before. New Master II tournament is expected to be a good showing of the Tekken talent in the South American region and you'll be able to tune in and watch it live with commentators as it happens later in September. CEO 2017 was the latest tournament event that is part of the Tekken World Tour as a Master event to take place this past weekend. MASTERCUP.9 Set to Take Place at Tokyo Big Sight TFT Hall

The destination has been set for MASTERCUP.9, the large scale Japanese 5on5 Tekken tournament set to go down on November 25th. The new venue announced for the tournament will be at Tokyo Big Sight's TFT (Tokyo Fashion Town) Hall. You might remember that venue as the place where Namco ran the TKOIFT 2015 Tokyo Qualifier, or the place that had Toushinsai 2016. This marks a big upgrade from the usual tournament venue being Leisure land in Palette town which was way too small of a venue to house a large number of entrants and had a smoking area right next to the play area.
