Tekken 7 FR - Feng Combo Damage Notes from Nekosuke (Ver. D)

Japanese Feng player Nekosuke recently got around to testing out the damage values of a bunch of different Feng combos and punishers at an arcade. It costs additional money on top of the coin you put into the T7FR machine for access to all this data in the Premium Practice mode so it's good info from someone who 'took the bullet' for us so to speak. All these notes were posted from his Twitter account in images but I've transcribed them all into our notation system for us to read. You can catch the sources over on Nekosuke's Twitter account.

KOIFT 2016 Osaka Round Qualifier Streamed Live on November 5

"Tekken" place this Saturday in Osaka Japan is the Osaka Round qualifier for the King of Iron Fist Tournament 2016. This is Japan's first leg of the KOIFT qualifiers for the Finals this year and we'll see who our first 3 qualified Japanese players will be by the day's end. The tournament will have 3 divisions - 'Females' 'Students' & 'Anyone' all in 1on1 formats with prize money up for grabs so no messing around here. Unlike last year's event, Osaka Round will now be streamed on both niconico and Twitch live with Markman and Spooky manning the stream for the English side so tune in if you can this weekend. Toushinsai 2016 - Japanese Tekken 7 Fated Retribution Tournament Twitch Archive

There's probably some overarching commentary you could make about Akuma in T7FR and how he fits in the game but the results speak for themselves after you see something like this. High level Tekken players are still struggling to deal with, and players are doing really well with Akuma in tournaments. For those that missed out on watching Toushinsai's finals event live on Twitch, you can now watch the archive that is available. The tournament itself is like a spiritual successor to SBO with the qualifiers leading up to the event and the similar game formats. The T7FR matches feature multiple qualified Japanese teams alongside a Korean team that qualified through their placing in the VSL the Fist show. There's English commentary to go with it too.
