TEKKEN 7 - Coming Out Early 2017 For PS4, XB1 & PC

The news is finally out - TEKKEN 7 is coming to Playstation 4, Xbox One & the PC platform in early 2017! Tekken 7 is the latest in the long running fighting game franchise and it is the first time a Tekken game will be out on PCs. Tekken 7 will feature over 30 characters at launch powered by Unreal Engine 4 allowing stunning cinematics during gameplay. Interviews with Korean Player JDCR From Headstomper

Among all the festivities at the Swedish tournament Headstomper 2016, both The Main Man and Ozzy the Lion-o took the opportunity to grab JDCR for some quick Tekken interviews. JDCR from Korea is considered a champion of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 taking home multiple grand final finishes in a large amount of events worldwide so it's good viewing to see what is on his mind regarding the game and going into Tekken 7. His English speaking skills have improved from recent years making these interviews good quality to listen to which is pretty rare I should mention. A good job goes out to him personally. LionZ Den 3 - Official Trailer For 2016

Lionz Den returns this year with Tekken! The premier European tournament series taking place in the UK brings together some of the best Europe has to offer to battle it out and give a good show. Lionz Den 2 last year boasted over 150 entrants in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 with very strong international players attending like JDCR, Help Me, Kor and more. Headstomper 2016 | Swedish Fighting Game Tournament on 3 - 5 June

In southern Scandinavia this weekend is the HEADSTOMPER tournament featuring both TTT2 and Tekken 7 (arcade) tournaments. For what I understand is that, since there is only one Tekken 7 setup available at the event, the T7 tournament will only allow the top 16 winners of the TTT2 tournament to participate in T7. Think of the TTT2 tournament as a mini qualifier of sorts. With that said, lots of players within the region will be going and some notable names attending are JDCR from Korea and home boy The Main Man. The event is being streamed and you can catch all the European Tekken action over on Twitch.tv when they go live.

Combo Breaker 2016 | Fighting Game Tournament on May 27-29

Taking place this weekend in St. Charles Illinois is Combo Breaker 2016. A notable fighting game event in the Midwest which recently announced over 1000 participants scattered across over 20 games. For the Tekken series, it's part of the Tekken Tour with a Tekken 7 tournament, Tekken 7 Fated Retribution is available to playtest, a Tekken (3) Ball tournament is being organised and finally a Tekken Tag Tournament 2 side tournament.
