This Year's MASTERCUP.9 Tournament Shifts Date to November 25

Word came in on an update notice for the Tekken 7 MASTERCUP.9 tournament that is scheduled to take place later this year. During the MORIBE CUP event, the MASTERCUP tournament head honcho Masakarijin; appeared on stage to present the news that this year's MASTERCUP.9 event has now moved dates from the previously announced date of November 4 to the 25th of November (Saturday). Apologies for the delay in relaying this news but we hope anyone that was already planning on attending MASTERCUP.9 prepare in advance for the event and the shift in dates. MASTERCUP.9 is expected to be another monolithic Japanese Tekken event with Tekken 7 that'll celebrate 10 years of MASTERCUP tournaments in the region so it is definitely an event not to miss out on. Hopefully for this year we can see more international presence, team USA where you at!?

Tekken 7 Season Pass Roadmap - Guest Characters Coming in Late 2017 & Early 2018

The Pre-order page for Tekken 7 in Japan went up on PlayStation Network went up today and with that came further details on the Season Pass for Tekken 7. If you get the Deluxe Edition of Tekken 7, the Season Pass included will come with 3 DLC packs that are coming throughout this year and early next year. Tekken 7 UK Championships Announced in Association with ESL

A Tekken 7 tour is coming to the United Kingdom, Bandai Namco has announced today. This upcoming championships will make certain stops in upcoming events in the UK during the months of April & May and will culminate with the best Tekken players the region has to offer at the finals at the ESL Arena during MCM London Comic Con. Hypespotting 6 is officially the first event as part of the championships and will signal the official launch of the tour for the game. While the announcements regarding this year's King of Iron Fist Tournament has yet to be arranged, it should probably be expected that the UK Championships will tie into it in the future. Tekken 7 Returns to Evolution This Year on the Main Stage

Tekken 7 is back and on the list of games in the Evo 2017 roster MrWizard announced during the Evo reveal stream. Tekken 7 made appearances during Evo during the last 2 years across both the vanilla and FR updated arcade version but this year will mark the 1st Evo where the console version will be out beforehand. They're also happy to announce that while Tekken 7 is back at EVO, it will for this year be featured on main stage and get a Sunday finals alongside Street Fighter V and both Super Smash Bros games. This will perhaps be the place to highlight the best of what Tekken 7 has to offer to the world on the big stage and you can expect the competition to be fierce for everyone participating. Evo 2017 will not be an event to miss out this year so start making your plans to attend. Evo 2017 is taking place in Las Vegas on July 14th to the 16th later this year.
