King of Iron Fist Tournament 2015 - Japan Qualifier Details
Details on the official website for the Japanese qualifiers for the King of Iron Fist 2015 tournament going down later this year have sprung up alongside the names of every entered participant now that the entry deadline is up. I'm going to gloss over most of the detail regarding the Japanese qualifiers for the tournament but to give you the most important bit upfront: Japan will have 6 qualifying players for the tournament not counting AO and Nobi who have already qualified due to their performance at EVO 2015. Like the Korean qualifiers, Japan will be getting 3 divisions of player entrants but this time from both east and west Japan. Full source of the details are up on the official website for the tournament:

I don't have any fancy photoshopping abilities at the moment so I'll just detail everything from the image below.
- West Japan OSAKA CHALLENGE Qualifier date: 26th of September. (upper left blue box)
- East Japan TOKYO CHALLENGE Qualifier date: 3rd of October. (upper left red box)
- Both events will have 3 divisions for the qualifiers: 1on1 Female Divison, 3on3 'Students' Division & 3on3 'for anyone' Division.
- JAPAN ROUND (Big red box) is the 2nd phase of the qualifier event which will put the winning teams of each 3on3 event against each other. During this part, the 3on3 teams are broken apart and then put into 1on1 format.
- 1on1 Female Division winners from either CHALLENGE event will not have to go through the JAPAN ROUND qualifier, they skip right into the finals at the end of the year.
- In total: 2 Female divison players, 3 'Student' players & 1 'anyone' division player will make up the qualifying Japanese players. (Alongside AO and Nobi.)
The boxes on the right hand side of the image refers to other qualifier events outside of Japan but they don't have many details yet. There's boxes for: 'Korean representatives,' 'EVO 2015 representatives,' 'North American representatives,' 'Japanese representatives' and a grey 'other region qualifying representatives.'
