Kuro Kuro Cup - Random 3on3 Tournament Held in Sapporo
Kuro Kuro is hosting the Kurokuro Cup this weekend up in Japan's northern most island of Hokkaido. The city of Sapporo while a great spot for snowboarding festivities, will host the tournament with participants randomly shuffled into teams of 3. There's going to be some great players such as the Sugamo regulars like Nobi, Take & Shana but Korea is sending two players out to participate: Knee and Naengmyun Sungin. The tournament will go down on the 16th of February which is this upcoming Sunday and hopefully Kurokuro will be providing a stream for it. To help get you into the spirit of things, Shudy has edited a Ace Combat trailer created a trailer introducing it for everyone.

I don't think "person" is a good translation for 星人...
Just a minor localization.
I know that people normally use '星人' (seijin) to say 'person from (the planet of)' so if I used something 'Cold Noodlian' or 'Person from Cold Noodle planet' that would just sound awkward and 'person' gets a similar message across.
But now that I've went and looked up the guy further, I found out that it's that Roger. Jr player from SBO 2010..... Naengmyun Sungin (냉면성인).
That trailer was some trolly shit.
Do you mean the legendery Roger player 冷面 from T6 days? That guy was super cool.
When I translate Japanese player names with characters to English I tend to just sound them out... English speaking people don't really care what the words mean I think. And as always thanks for the news updates!
