MYK has reached his goal and raised enough money to pay for his medical bills. The fighting game community is the best health insurance plan. Good shit guys!
First I'd like to remind everyone that we will be streaming Tekken 6 tonight from Super Arcade at around 8:30pm (PST). The second order of business is our buddy MYK. Now some of you may know by now that he is having a tough time dealing with some recent medical bills. Some of you have contacted me asking what the deal is and let me assure you, he is not dead and is not dyeing. He simply had a medical emergency that left him with a bill that he can not afford. I personally have seen countless people in the community deal with problems like this one, as financial turmoil is very common these days. As a last resort MYK looked to the community asking for help. For this reason, all the tournament entrees for tonight's Tekken 6 tournament will go towards helping MYK out. We are also still running our Eightarc Fusion Raffle which will end this Sunday. Tournament and stream details below.
Tournament will be single elim due to only having one Tekken 6 cabinet.
$5.00 entree. 100% of the pot goes to MYK.
Tournament starts at 9:00pm PST (hopefully)

Oh, I should have read this article first, I thought he had some major disease. Yeah, the USA has great medical cverage...if you are a multi-millionaire.
Two things!
1. It's heartwarming how MYK's friends and the community cares about him and are helping him. Good thing!
2. Why didn't he have medical insurance?? You live in a country with no socialized medicine, you should be responsible and have medical insurance so these sort of situations never happen. That's being a responsible adult is all about. I live in Norway where healthcare is free. Well, we pay huge amount of taxes for that. I'm never sick so how is that fair?? I eat healthy and work out and other do not. How is that fair that I have to pay for their healtcare??? Everyone should take responsibility for their life and have medical insurance. For fuck sake!
