Thanks to the amazing response from everyone in the community, MYK has reached his goal of raising $3100 for his medical bills. Thanks to everyone who donated!

Wow I didnt even know he needed treatment so I went to the LUYG page and saw the post, which was made just yesterday.
I am amazed how quickly he got so much support from the community.

What the heck? Did he get cancer?
Myk was rude, and kinda snobby when I met (err tried) to meet him to give him props. Howevrr, I still donated and pray for his fast recovery.
Two things!
1. Hope MYK gets well soon. Best wishes for you!! It's heartwarming how MYK's friends and the community cares about him and are helping him. Just amazing!!!
2. Why didn't he have medical insurance?? You live in a country with no socialized medicine, you should be responsible and have medical insurance so these sort of situations never happen. That's being a responsible adult is all about. I live in Norway where healthcare is free. Well, we pay huge amount of taxes for that. I eat healthy and work out and other do not. How is that fair that I have to pay for their healtcare??? Everyone should take responsibility for their life and have medical insurance. For fuck sake!

It was good to see MYK, up and well, compete in the stream's tournament, after explaining what had taken place.
