Tekken 7 - Top 8 from Wednesday Night Fights 2.5

Feels like it has been awhile hasn't it? Tekken is finally back at Wednesday Night Fights. Tekken 7's debut tournament at WNF saw over 80 people enter the weekly tournament taking place at the eSports Arena over at downtown Santa Ana. The west coast tournament was streamed over on Twitch.tv and had Tekken commentary from Aris, Rip, Tasty Steve, Rickstah, Sajam and more. If you didn't catch the event live, the Top 8 archive is now available to watch on the Level Up Series YouTube channel. Wednesday Night Fights is live every week at 9PM PST on the levelupseries Twitch channel so be sure to follow if you enjoy the content.

Tekken 7 - Top 5 Finals from Next Level Battle Circuit v.69

Tekken 7 is now available so come out and play the game at your nearby weeklies. Over at the East Coast in New York, Team Spooky is back running tournaments for Tekken 7 and NLBC #69 was the debut tournament for Tekken 7 on consoles. Notable players entered into the tournament include; NYC Fab, BloodHawk, FightingGM & Renoface with a bonus $1000 crowdfunded prize pool via Matcherino. Going Out of Bounds in Tekken 7

It's a known bug in the series but you can't help but smile everytime you see it happen. Once again, boundaries in Tekken stages have been broken and it's interesting to see what's out there beyond the stage edges. It makes for a cool way to closely admire some of the work and effort that goes into designing some of Tekken's stages since you can get a more close and better view of the details in the background. Findings from Noodalls - Tekken 7 has less input lag on XB1 than PS4

Well this is a little awkward isn't it? Noodalls tested out the input lag on the Xbox One versions of Tekken 7 and as it turns out, it in fact has less overall input lag than the PlayStation 4 Pro version. In the previous findings, Tekken 7 on the PS4 measured at 120.1 ms (7.2 frames) with the PS4 Pro matching that. On the Xbox One version of Tekken 7 however, the game was measured to have 104.2ms (6.2 frames) so that is a 1 frame difference between the two consoles. This marks an unusual precedent since historically Tekken games have always been played on the PlayStation versions competitively. Do tournaments now use the XB1 version? Or is everyone content on playing on the PS4? Once again, big thanks goes to Noodalls for the findings, added below is the YouTube video he recently put up testing the two versions.
