MASTERCUP.6 - Promotional Video Released

New PV for MASTERCUP.6 has been released and it now features the fantastic narration of Fumihiko Tachiki! The video is courtesy of the official MASTERCUP YouTube channel. In slightly related news to Mastercup, the tournament has also just surpassed a 100 teams registered on the site giving the tournament over 500 participants. Among the most interesting players that can seen on the site are Rodalfo from Tekken Italia (team 81), Snake from Taiwan (team 84) & JT Chinoy (team 89). There will be further deatils and announcements from the tournament to come closer to the event's date.

TTT2 - Global Championship '13 Currently Selected Players

A significant portion of the qualifiers has recently completed and we have confirmed representatives for a number of entered countries for the Global Championship 2013 tournament taking place on the 26th of October. Thanks to the official Tekken OKWave page for the event, we even have pictures and small profiles for you to cringe at!

MASTERCUP.6 - Help Me!! and Qudans Attending

This year's MASTERCUP.6 tournament in Japan looks to have some strong Korean players attending once again to try and take on the very best that Japan has to offer in the big 5on5 tournament series. Help Me will be returning to the Mastercup tournament after losing out to Shana's team just outside of Top 8 of MC.5 and Qudans will be joining Help Me and hopefully not dropping out like last time. The players are already registered up on the official website and it's surprising to see that they're both on AO's team. Qudans has registered under his Mishima team (Kazuya/Devil Jin) while Help Me is registered with his Paul/Marduk team. Hit the link to see the team.

RedBull Japan's 5G Competition Featuring Tekken Tag Tournament 2

The RedBull 5G event is a national gaming competition set up by Redbull Japan to find the country's best competitive gamers in 5 gaming genres: First-Person-Shooters, Racing, Sports, Fighting & lastly a free genre which is announced to be puzzle games. The event uses qualifiers in East & West Japan and pits the two side against each other in offline & offline qualifiers. It was announced back in June that the Fighting game selected for this year's competition will be Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and RedBull JP have set the dates for the event's qualifiers & finals event. I'll hopefully have more information regarding it being broadcasted closer to the event occurring but you can see the set dates and rules below.
