For those who missed it, the Twitch archives of the creation of the pools for the upcoming Norcal StrongStyle tournament this month are available now for viewing. Watch Bronson Tran and subt-L rig the brackets and talk shit about most of the players entered. There's no quality options for the twitch archives so if you are like me and have really bad internet, you'll probably be stuck buffering the videos until there's a YouTube archive or something. Shadowloo Showdown V | Australian Fighting Game Tournament on August 29th - 31st, 2014

UPDATE: I'm back and I've just added the full results for the tournament.

The fifth iteration of Australian's Premier fighting game tournament series: Shadowloo Showdown is on this weekend! The tournament gathers the largest amount of local Australian players and frequently pits them up against international competition. For this year, the international guest participating in the TTT2 tournament is none other then the famed Korean player Help Me. The event will be streamed through the ShadowlooHQ twitch channels (Main - Sub) so be sure to tune in if you yourself can't make it out to the event this year. Since I'll be playing in the tournament, I'll be a bit late to update the results.

MASTERCUP.7 - Combo Makers Collaborative PV Revealed

MASTERCUP.7 is slowly creeping up on us this year, the latest in Japan's large series of 5on5 tournaments is a few months months away! MASTERCUP.7 is said to be the 'final' send off for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 in Japan and they are expected to go out with a bang. In collaboration with certain popular Combo Makers you see on YouTube, MASTERCUP has revealed the first Promotional Video for the tournament on the official YouTube channel. You can watch the PV below and look forward to watching the next MASTERCUP tournament on niconico later down the line. If you're a big fan of the MASTERCUP series, you may spot something familiar about the character teams used in this Promotional Video!

TTT2: Japan Invasion Event at The Philippines

Over at the Philippines this past weekend; Nobi, Genkids & Jackller (Tekken Bancho) got the opportunity to play in a 3v3 tournament as well as exhibition matches against the local competition in an event held by Timezone. The internet at the venue was not good at the time to stream the great matches however the PinoyVersus YouTube channel have started uploading the archives for the tournament and exhibition matches which is now available for viewing. The playlist will run through most of the 3v3 tournament in reverse order and the exhibition match features AK, Maru, & Doujin vs Nobi, Genkids & Jackller. Customs are off (Maru is another Dragunov/Lars player) and the matches were set to 4 rounds to win.

NORCAL STRONGSTYLE ~5 Second Trailer Released!

Holy fuck, I'm going to StrongStyle! I'm still quite shook that the Tekken community has given me the opportunity to participate at the next StrongStyle tournament this year. I'd love to get the chance to meet and play with everyone that helped me out in achieving all this so If you yourself happen to be going to the event, please don't hesitate to come and say hi and get some matches with me as I'm more then welcome to! I'll be joining this tournament's current large league of international competition at the event so I'm looking forward to what is shaping up to be one of the greatest tournaments held for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 yet.
