Tekken Revolution - Kuma & Miguel Added to the September Update

The September 'large-scale' update that I documented previously looks to be gaining additional character inclusions according to new posts on Japanese media sites. Both Kuma and Miguel will be joining the character roster of Tekken Revolution and you can unlock these characters through Gift Points or by purchasing them. Additionally as a slightly related sidenote to this short update, Tekken Revolution is in Namco Bandai's Tokyo Game Show 2013 lineup so you may see some new announcements related to the title there.

TR - September 'Large-Scale' Update Coming 9/4, Allows you to Purchase Characters

New site update on Tekken Revolution's official website just arrived with details on the upcoming September update to Tekken Revolution. The most notable of additions detailed in the update is a new section under the "Playstation store" option which allows you to buy specific characters to add to your available character roster. Alongside this, they've added more costumes and premium effects for certain characters, the ability to create 'Premium session' rooms in player matches, specific use of either coins or tickets by pressing R1 and the fight money multiplier for a specific period. Rumor: New Namco Arcade System 478 to be Made, Title featured is Tekken 7?

Tekken titles are normally developed on specialized arcade boards that are based on PlayStation hardware, Tekken Tag 2 for example is developed for System 369. And if this new information that was recently put out onto the internet is to be believed, it seems like Tekken 7 is soon to follow this tradition. According to a 2ch post, a new Namco Bandai Arcade system titled "System 478," (based on PS4 hardware perhaps?) is soon to be made and features several games for exhibition such as Tekken 7 & a new game in the Gundam VS series. Since I haven't received any official word from Namco about this yet, I'll put this under rumor. You can see the original source below.

TTT2 JP Global Championship 2013 Qualifier Archive & Results

The final qualifier to select the Japanese delegation for the upcoming Global Championship tournament in Korea has recently concluded over on a live broadcast on the niconico website. Five teams of two players battled it out in Namco Sugamo within the over 3 hour long broadcast with Nobi and Kagemaru finally coming out on top.
