Tekken 7 Fated Retribution - Official Niconico Stream on August 1

An official niconico stream by Bandai Namco games revolving around the newly revealed characters; Bob and Master Raven has been announced. Taking place on the 1st of August at 8 PM Japan time, Tekken project members Katsuhiro Harada, Nakatsu & Mishimastar will make an appearance on the broadcast to show off and demonstrate the new characters and detail the latest news on upcoming updates to Tekken 7 Fated Retribution as well as the global 'KING OF THE IRON FIST TOURNAMENT 2016' taking place later this year. The Tekken Girls Club are also set to make an appearance during the broadcast in their cosplay outfits like usual. MASTERCUP EVO 2016 Tekken 7 FR Public Viewing Event On July 16

We are just a single week away before EVO 2016! With the announcement of TEKKEN 7 Fated Retribution being a main game in the EVO line-up, MASTERCUP has come forward to organise a 'Public Viewing' event on July 16 (Saturday) in Fukuoka prefecture within Japan's south. The location for this event is at the luxurious Manon Lescaut Cafe and will be set-up so that attendees will be able to come in; play any of the Tekken games on the set-ups, enjoy the fine dining menu and come together to watch all the action and excitement from EVO 2016 on the big screen. There is going to be a lot of TEKKEN action taking place and it will all be broadcasted live with famed MASTERCUP commentator Genya present to commentate the stream. If you happen to be in the area, come on down and enjoy TEKKEN at EVO with friends!

Tekken 7 Fated Retribution is out in Japanese and Korean arcades today! If you anywhere near an arcade with the update, feel free to check it out. No doubt that a ton of tidbits of gameplay changes and info will come streaming out all over from today so there will be a ton of things to check back on. First Guest Announcement for Lionz Den 3 - Sodam from Korea

Korean Xiaoyu superstar Sodam has been announced as attending Lionz Den 3 this year! Making a name for himself for his super aggressive Xiaoyu play-style, his most recent Tekken performance sees him taking 2nd in TTT2 at Button Smash 2015 and 2nd at Final Round 19 in T7 beating out the likes of Anakin, Princess Ling and more. Tickets to the event are now available to purchase on the Lionz Den website and purchasing a VIP ticket will let you play all the international guests on stage during the event's live broadcast. Lionz Den 3 is taking place in London on the weekend of August 13 - 14 this year.

Yosu Hakai Ou Cup - Japanese 7on7 East VS West Battle on June 25

UPDATE: Mastercup later announced that 2 additional players will be playing in this event turning it into a 8on8. Matador joins the Eastern team with Nobi and Yosurin joins Hakai Ou's team.

Starting next weekend is the 'Yosu Hakai Ou' MASTERCUP tournament named after well known Tekken players Yosurin and Hakai Ou. It'll be a tournament event on home turf for Japan's west Tekken scene as they battle it out against incoming players from other parts of Japan. For this occasion, a 7 on 7 EAST VS WEST event is being organised which pits the best Tekken 7 players to decide which region has the strongest players. Leading the Eastern Japan army is Nobi with his team of Kagemaru, Double, Tsubumi, Kabochan, Chanmura & Taris while the Western Japan army is lead by Hakai Ou with his team; Nisshin, Karei, Taisei, MakoRyu, Gen (formerly: Genkids) & Joe. The 7on7 exhibition will take place a day before the Hakai Ou Cup tournament on June 26 and they will both be streamed live on Twitch.tv via the Game Newton channel so be sure to catch all the action live!
