SHC2 - Official Direct-Feed Uploads from MASTERCUP

MASTERCUP have recently uploaded matches from the SPECIAL HAMMERs CUP 2 tournament this year onto the official MASTERCUP YouTube channel. Great way to catch up on SHC2 if you happen to have missed it and can't stand low quality stream rips. The upload speed of these matches are also pretty good this time around since it usually takes a month or two for Mastercup to upload video archives from a tournament. You can watch the videos below which I've added player names with.

SPECIAL HAMMERs CUP 2 is today! The 3on3 MASTERCUP tournament which was initially announced to be capped at 42 teams but later expanded to 56 teams will be underway in Namco's Hakata Bus Terminal arcade. SPECIAL HAMMERs CUP 2 - MASTERCUP S1 Climax 2014

SPECIAL HAMMERs CUP 2 is the next Japanese tournament that MASTERCUP is going to run this year and it will be another 3on3 tournament with a team entry limit set to 42 teams (126 total players.) It was announced a bit before the top 8 at MATADOR CUP 5 and I now have more details about it from the official website. It's going to be held in a Namco arcade 'Hakata Bus Terminal store' which is in Fukuoka, Japan during Japan's Golden Week holiday period. The tournament is named after the famed Japanese Dragunov/Lee player 'Special Hammers' from Fukuoka and is going to be run similiar to the Mastercup J1 Climax from last year. This tournament as well as an upcoming MASTERCUP tournament in west Japan (No date yet) and of course MASTERCUP.7 in November this year is expected to be a good send off for the game just before Tekken's 20th anniversary in December.

Matador Cup 5 - Japanese 5on5 Tournament in A-cho Arcade Announced

Quietly announced at last years MASTERCUP.6 tournament, the official MASTERCUP website reveals Japan's next big Tekken tournament: "MATADOR CUP 5." Titled after famed Japanese player Matador, the 5on5 TTT2 tournament will be held in Kyoto's A-cho arcade on the 22nd of March and will have team limits capped at 56 teams allowing a maximum of 280 players in the tournament. In the announcement, Matador shares with us that he hopes to see a lot of the more unknown players with great talent in Japan come out and make a name for themselves on the tournament stage. Should more details on this tournament arise in the future (If there's no stream for this tournament, there will at least be archives on the MASTERCUP YouTube channel), I'll be sure to keep everyone posted.
