Video Footage From Tekken 7 FR Location Tests in Japan

The Tekken 7 Location tests in Japan are well underway and we now have a bunch of video footage to sift through looking for all kinds of new stuff. First off, the official Tekken twitch channel recently streamed several hours of footage from Day 2 of the Location tests from Namco Sugamo arcade and the Twitch archive is now available for viewing. Tekken 7 Fated Retribution Japanese Location Tests On This Weekend

UPDATE: Namco Sugamo have mentioned that they will now be doing a Twitch stream for the 2nd day of T7FR location test. The url is as follows and I assume it'll start at the same time as the niconico stream.

The Tekken 7 Fated Retribution location tests in Japan are on this weekend! Things kick off at the select 3 arcades (Namco Sugamo, Round One Stadium Sennichimae & Namco Hakata Bus Terminal) starting on the Friday (Feb 12) at 10 AM in Japan time. This is roughly 3 hours before ATP Live starts on this Thursday. Expect news to pour out from Japan on the game at the time. I'll try to cover as much as I can as I get news and info from online reports and videos. On the Saturday (Feb 13) at 1 PM Japan time, Namco Sugamo will be doing a niconico stream for the location test only on that day. The niconico stream will have commentary by Yuu, Nobi & Hameko and teases a special guest for the stream. You can watch the niconico stream by creating a free account then logging in when it goes live. For those who can't catch it live, I'll be archiving it on YouTube in the least if you cannot watch the niconico stream. The niconico stream URL is as follows:

Tekken 7 Fated Retribution Playable at Japan Amusement Expo 2016

Bandai Namco's Japan Amusement Expo 2016 website has recently been open and with came confirmation that Tekken 7 Fated Retribution will be playable at the event. JAEPO is an event in Japan organized by AOU and JAMMA that gives arcade oriented companies an opportunity to showcase the latest in arcade technology and gaming. Last year, Bandai Namco debuted Tekken 7's new characters Lucky Chloe and Shaheen as well as a new build of Tekken 7 at the event so we may be in for more Tekken 7 Fated Retribution news soon. JAEPO 2016 is taking place on February 19 & 20 with the first day being a closed business trader's day and then the 2nd day being open to the public. Yamasa Pachi-slot Tekken 3rd Angel Version PV

The Tekken series is getting another collaboration Pachislot machine with Yamasa. It's a pachislot machine so it's pretty much a Japan only slot machine that most of us here will never probably touch. The promotional video for Tekken 3rd Angel Version is up for viewing on pipocom1's YouTube channel so there's something to look at in the least if you like Angel I guess. Yamasa's Tekken 3rd Angel version is the 6th Pachi-slot machine for the Tekken franchise after Tekken R (2004), Tekken X (2006), Tekken 2nd (2012), Tekken Devil Version (2012) & Tekken 3rd (2014). According to Mode 1's blog, delivery of 5000 Tekken 3rd Angel Ver machines to casinos is scheduled for the 6th of March this year.

Tekken 7 Fated Retribution Location Tests Being Held on Feb 12 - 14!

Just announced via the Tekken Official website, Tekken 7 Fated Retribution is going to be having Location tests in Japan next month! It is planned to occur on February 12 (Friday) and run until the 14th (Sunday) at 3 Japanese arcades. The arcades are: Namco Sugamo in Tokyo, Round One Stadium Sennichimae arcade in Osaka & finally Namco's Hakata Bus Terminal arcade in Fukuoka. These are all the details for this current location test announcement but the web page mentions that further news on the location test will be arriving soon in the near future. We might be able to see Akuma playable in the hands of Japanese players soon it seems.
