The next set of character item customizations have been revealed by Tekken-Official. A new Tekken-net campaign titled the 'Item Kiwami Campain' (it just means 'Ultimate') will include a new batch of customizations to most of the roster in the arcade version of Tekken 7 Fated Retribution but what's also included this time is a new set of default costume arrangements. You can equip a new style of default costumes to your character to use in-game. The item campaign will run from today (14th of Dec) all the way through to January 18 so this is your chance to get new threads for your characters. [Update] Hi-res images of the Online Tournament mode have now been added.
Also unveiled during the King of Iron Fist Tournament 2016 Tekken stream is news that the Console / PC version of Tekken 7 will have an online tournament mode. This mode will allow players to set up and play each other online (Max of 8 players total per tournament) with a format used in actual offline tournaments. It supports single & double elimination brackets and includes player spectating and voice chat. In game prizes can also be allocated to the winners of the tournament with stuff like gold and items. The previously revealed Tekken 7 Fated Retribution collaboration with Taiko No Tatsujin Red Ver. arcade rhythm game now has Tekken-net campaign detailed on the Tekken-Official website. It's a month long period starting from the end of August and running until the end of September that allows players to purchase and unlock new in-game items for T7FR such as player panels and icons, character and life bar customizations as well as some new hit sparks. If you happen to be in Japan playing Tekken 7 Fated Retribution and keen on dressing your characters in new gear, you can look forward to getting the new additions. Announced at Gamescom alongside Lee Chaolan is further news on the game's Story Mode. New batch of screenshots from Tekken 7 show off portions of the Story Mode that retells the older history from the Tekken and reveals why things went down in the series. The game's Story Mode is said to be several hours long and as you progress through it, you can unlock sub plots for the other characters in the game such as Claudio's story and his group of Exorcists. There's even specific Story Mode costumes for characters such as the new suit for Heihachi that you can use while playing through the mode. The images from the story mode including the new stage are up on the BNE Europe press site but we have them here for everyone to see below!
