Large scale update to Arcade Tekken 7 Fated Retribution Round 2 announced for Spring 2020

A quick notice appeared on the Tekken Official website announcing that the arcade version of Tekken 7 will be getting a large-scale update in Spring of 2020. Judging from the details and the image, it looks like the content featured in Season Pass 3, including the 4 characters, will make it's way back from the console/PC version into the arcades when the update eventually rolls around. No further details given at the moment but expect to hear more as we get closer to the release period.

A fresh batch of customization screenshots have been added onto the official SC6 website, this time showing off all the new additions arriving a day after the launch of Season 2. These customization items are available to those who buy the second season pass for the game or buys the bundle seperately on it's own (which retails at 400 Yen in Japan). Cassandra Revealed for SoulCalibur VI

The next character to join the playable SoulCalibur VI cast is revealed to be Cassandra Alexandra. We've known about this for awhile but it is now official as of the EVO 2019 announcement. Cassandra is the last piece of DLC content included with SCVI's first Season Pass and will be available to download and play starting on August 5th. Check out her character reveal trailer:

New Downloadable Content listings discovered for Tekken 7

More DLC for Tekken 7 might be on its way, going by a recent listings update for Tekken 7 on Steamdb. If you head on over to the DLC section for Tekken 7, you'll find that 3 new packages were added to the table of DLC the game currently has. These packages are different from the usual game additions updates since these require account activation by either buying them or redeeming them like you would with the previous cosmetic DLCs. This more likely than not leans into either seperate or unique DLCs for the game rather than a new Season Pass if we go by the last two Season Passes since they both added a larger number of DLC packages. With a new console generation set to arrive next year, Tekken 7 for the time being looks to still be seeing continued support.

SoulCalibur 6 Creation Parts 'Set B' DLC & Version 1.40 Update Out May 16

Word of a new update and the next DLC content coming to SoulCalibur VI is now officially out, and you'll have all the new goodies in your hands by tomorrow. There's lots to cover here but some of the notable additions coming to the game in version 1.40 are:

- Ansel support for the PC version

- Free Tuxedo & Bridal Character Creation Items

- Paid 'Set B' Character Creation DLC Compatibility

- New Color Variations added to the cast in the Character Select Screen

- 'Rank Bolstering' aka having all your characters rise up in ranks when you reach certain thresholds. (Like in Tekken 7)
