Fergus2k8's Tekken 7 Character Overview

Ireland's premier Tekken community leader Fergus recently made a character primer going over each Tekken 7 combatant's strengths, weaknesses, and difficulty levels in under 200 words each. It's a fantastic piece of writing that can be very useful to any newcommer wanting to see what each character is about. You can find the link to the google doc here. Passion Republic is described as a young and unique studio from Malaysia that has contributed works to game developers with CG cinematics and next gen game characters and assets. Most notably, they have done work on several big name games such as Dark Souls 3, Batman Arkham Knight, Gears of War and more. They've recently uploaded new concept art onto their website and while they're not named, they look to be artwork for the Soul Calibur series. We don't want to lead anyone into thinking these are for a new Soul Calibur but who knows. Cool artwork regardless. You can check them out on the Passion Republic website:

New Arcade Business Model for Tekken 7 Fated Retribution - Many More Character Additions Planned

Big news came out of the Kelot Cup tournament from the Tekken 7 Fated Retribution producer Nakatsu. First off, the arcade version of Tekken 7 Fated Retribution will be planning on using a new arcade business model when it launches. As pointed out on stream, this business model for T7FR means that the game will be getting long time support and managed long after it goes live in arcades in July. Nakatsu surprised both Hameko and Yuu on the mic when he said that alongside new characters Akuma and Nina, 'Many More' characters are currently planned on being added for Tekken 7 Fated Retribution. Next bit of news to come from the stream - In mid June, Bandai Namco is organizing an official Tekken 7 Fated Retribution event for the upcoming launch of the title in July. Tekken 7 - Most Popular Characters in Japanese Arcades for April 2015

With the implementation of an online connected system to every Tekken 7 arcade cabinet, Namco can collect all kinds of usage data from the players that go into arcades to play the game. On the Tekken-Net website for Tekken 7, they've started listing the nationwide most popular used characters in Tekken 7 for Japanese arcades. It takes a month for the rankings to aggregate all the character usage data and publish it for the website so we now have data for the month of April. If you have a Tekken-net account, you can see the ranking yourself on website under the 'Ranking' tab. For those who don't, I went ahead and screenshotted the page for everyone below.

Tekken 7 - Jin Kazama, Devil Jin and Josie Rizal Officially Revealed

From the recent Tekken 7 niconico stream with Harada.

Jin will be unlocked for Arcades everywhere on 3/31 while Devil Jin will be unlocked on 4/7 next month. Josie Rizal doesn't have an announced date yet but Harada hinted at 'Golden Week' during the stream. (April 29 ~ May 6 for those wondering.) Character reveal trailers can be found below.
