Arcade Tekken 7 Fated Retribution to end network services March 26, 2020

After three years of operation in the arcade sector, Bandai Namco is pulling the plug on T7FR's network service early next year. Arcades that operate cabinets of the game but did not buy the Round 2 USB upgrade are to be taken offline disabling the use of Banapassport cards and certain online game functionality. The game will still be playable offline but features like player and ranking data, character customization and online match-making will no longer be available come March 26, 2020. The Round 2 version of the game on the other hand, is set to receive a big content update in Spring of 2020. On March 26, 2020, we will terminate the network service of the arcade game "Tekken 7 FATED RETRIBUTION" (hereinafter referred to as "Tekken 7FR").

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our customers who played it so far, but we appreciate your understanding.

In addition, the arcade game "Tekken 7 FATED RETRIBUTION ROUND 2" (hereinafter described as "Tekken 7FR ROUND2") and the same title corresponding [TEKKEN-NET] service is still available.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the players who have long-supported this work, and to all the store officials who cooperated in the operation.

Thursday, March 26, 2020, 02:00 AM

About the game after the network service ends:

It is available as an offline version of the game. (However, the update "Ver.X08" must be applied.)

You will not be able to use your Bana Passport Card.

Since it is not possible to save and read game data, such as performance, rank, player name, etc. are not displayed, character customization is also not available.

Note: "Online Match Mode" and "Premium Practice Mode" will no longer be available.

"In-store match" (including CPU battle) without bana passport card, "Normal practice mode" is available.

Regarding TEKKEN-NET after the end of the service:

For TEKKEN-NET, which supports Tekken 7FR, the service has ended on Friday, February 8, 2019.

BANDAI NAMCO ID and paid membership information will be shared.

You can continue to use [TEKKEN-NET] corresponding to [Tekken 7FR ROUND2].
