Tekken 7 Fated Retribution Site Update - New Game Modes & Character Movelists

Tekken 7 Fated Retribution is mere days away in Japan and Korea! The official website for the expansion to Tekken 7 is live and it details several new things in store for the game. First off are the new games modes: Friend Matching and Premium Training mode. Friend Matching allows you to designate the game to match you up online with friends who are also online playing Tekken 7. As for Premium Training mode, it is an improved version of the standard Training mode already in the game but will allow you to see damage values, give you more settings for the CPU opponent and lets you reset the stage back to the beginning without having to go back to the character select screen. These new modes require Banacoins that you have to buy separately and load into your account to use so this marks the new business model for the game announced a bit back. With that said, character movelist PDF files are now available on the site so be sure to check it out to see who got new moves. Tekken 7 Fated Retribution is out in arcades on July 5th.

FRIEND MATCHING:

Battle your friends wherever they are online! Load Banacoins onto your Bandai Namco account to use the mode and keep playing your friends in Tekken 7 Fated Retribution using revenge match. While you wait for the match to begin, you can enter and use Premium Training Mode. You can add players you meet and know as your friends online via TEKKEN-NET.

PREMIUM TRAINING MODE:

New features are added to regular Training Mode in this Premium version. Each Banacoin you load into the mode gives you 8 minutes of time within the mode to check out the now shown damage values on moves, more options for the CPU opponent which allows more ways to test things out and the ability to reset the stage without going back to the character select screen. You can wait in this mode while you wait for your Friend Match to begin.

Banacoins are a new currency that you can load into your Bandai Namco account and use within the game. Once you tap on your card on a Tekken 7 machine, a display in-game will notify how much Banacoins you have to use on Friend Matches & Premium Training Mode. Banacoins can be purchased online or through physical cards with codes to load into your account. T7FR's TEKKEN-NET launches on July 5th.

KENDATSU SEN (Item battles)

While playing online in Tekken 7 Fated Retribution, 'Kenda Sen' battles can randomly occur every now and then. When you beat the opponent during this special match, you win certain unique and special customization items to use on your characters!

This won't be available at T7FR launch however and is currently planned to later be added in through an update.
