Heads Up: Australian Shadowloo Showdown 6 & Button Smash 3 Tournament Featuring International Guests
Just a heads up to those in the area: Australian is having two major (In our context) fighting game tournaments going down in the same month of February 2015. Shadowloo Showdown 6 which is the biggest tournament in all of Australia is being held in Melbourne on 6-8 of Feb and will be continuing the tradition of inviting foreign competitors to the event. For Tekken this year, Saint from Korea is coming down to play and will probably come first. Then later on the month, Button Smash 3 will be happening in Brisbane on Feb 28 until 1st of March and is having even more international Tekken competition. Both Knee and Sodam from Korea will be making their way down to Brisbane to play at the event. So If you're in area you can't miss these events so be sure to be there. If you can't, I hear both events will be streamed so you can at least look forward to that later down the line. Player announcements below.

Are australians serious? Its like a forum member wants to fight naruto with superman or goku in death battle. It just wont work. its like jdcr plowing the europeans again last year.
@t3k4evo
haha it's a good way of learning though :P i think we've got.. maybe 2 players that can compete with them, but they'll probably end up getting rekt anyway
Players like ak, book, help me, jackler and only practice are what this tournament need for players to be rekt. Knee, JDCR and saint is overkill. Even genkids only him is more than enough.
@t3k4evo
So what you are saying is we are not allowed to invite any guest to our future events just because we will be "rekt" and "it just wont work"? I suppose Europeans should stop inviting guests to their events too? Stupid attitude. Our goal is simply to attract more players to the Australian Community, to expand the scene and also to improve it. Though we may not be able to compete with such players, events have proven to be successful each year and really helped the scene. So to say "are australians serious?" is a selfish attitude and clearly you do not want to help expand tekken.
