If they had to add another female character, it should have been the Tekken Force female. I am sick of these cutesy characters, we need more badass females like Nina that are actually somewhat believable as fighters, and Krav Maga is not represented in this game at this time. (closest would be draganov)
This chick just looks generic and is already covered by a combination of the existing females. (Alisa, Ling, Christie, Lili)

I have been playing tekken since t3 and they have always have had crazy characters in the game
What is this stupid argument people keep saying all the time; that 'Tekken has always had silly fighters like a bear and kangaroo, so....'
That's no reason to put EVEN MORE of these stupid silly characters in the game. Those characters were never liked very vwell in the first place. Those characters were the reason Tekken was becoming less serious and just a ridiculous over-the-top-japanese-anime-fighter.So that argument is completely useless!

Tekken has ALWAYS been an over the top anime fighter:
1) Angsty protagonist who is struggling with an inner demon
2) Asian high school girls
3) Evil villain who wants power
4) Crazy cyborgs etc..
Adding a pop star / break dancer / cosplayer is actually pretty tame compared to Alisa or Eliza.

Exactly, these goofy or flair characters have never had a huge impact of people's enjoyment of the game so whats the big deal? If pandering to anime nerds brings in some sales then its a GOOD thing for Tekken.

The most important part should be to make more people play the new Tekken so the series won't die.
If you don't like the new character, then just don't play as her.
Ok.. but I still have to play against her, won't I? I would have to learn her basic moves so I know how to punish her. I have to spend time on learning frames, cheesy setups, gimmicky crushmoves and whatnot.
But the part I hate most is the silly high-pitched voice!!
The worst part is, I think Harada is getting really pissed now. He even tweeted that Chloe Won't be playable in North-America, only in Europe and East-Asia. Is this true or is this him just trolling? HE said there would be a new character for NA. We can't have a Tekken with different roster for different regions! That's just retarded!!!
I'd prefer Bamco made an actual woman character in her 30s that's African or Norwegian or something that looks cool, mature, and respectable, but that might be asking too much of them, unfortunately.
Anyway, Lucky Chloe isn't my kind of design. She seems alright, though. I wouldn't be surprised if she's a joke and/or troll style character, ha ha.

My main problem with Lucky is that she is BORING. You've seen this trope countless times already coming out of Japan and people want to see something new and unique out of a new game. Don't tell me that this character is only for Japan either, just as many people over there are disappointed by this reveal as well. Sure I can still play my old favorite characters, but I also want to play something new and INTERESTING! Claudio and Katarina are looking like goddamn works of Michelangelo by comparison now. Meanwhile all Tekken fans have are 240p potato quality streams with shitty dubstep bgm to get us hype.
Granted seeing the new stages quelled some of my fears, they look badass. I just don't know what to expect from this game that comes out in 3 months!

The point is that lots of people like Tekken even though it has had ridiculous characters for its entire lifetime.
Lucky Chloe is just another one of these characters, she just happens to be a cutesy girl which offends men who are insecure about their masculinity.
At best she might bring in more people/sales to Tekken, at worst she will just be another joke character nobody cares about like Alisa.
Alisa is played at the highest level by some of the best players in the entire world. Chanel in Korea is one example. I've never ever seen a Paul or Law at high levels though.
I think people should calm the fuck down and stop taking a videogame so seriously!

BTW.. to the ppl who remembered a Simpson's episode, she is basically POOCHIE !!!!! for the younger folks, please look up the reference. Essentially, the creators created a dumb ass character to attract new fans, and it backed fired.

the sad thing about t7 is that there is nothing exciting about it something that will make you be like i can't FUCKING WAIT!!!!! this is to GOOD!!!! none i felt this for T6 and 2 days ago for st5 and i'm not a fan of usf4. people who are exciting about t7 are just sucking namco dick and don't wanna tell the truth i played tekken since 1 and took it seriously in T5 point 0 put a lot of time on it cause i chose tekken as an hobby it is very sad and disappointed to see this game loosing his DNA. i respect those here who give there true opinion we wouldn't take the time to write feedback if we didn't gave a fuck about tekken. T7 is in the wrong path its not just the characters but the system over all to.
