Female Vampire wins fan vote for the next Tekken Revolution Character

And the Second big thing from the Namco panel was that the Female Vampire has won the vote from the facebook poll and the audience's applause at this years SDCC. To see more concept art and the other 3 concepts, hit the jump below.

As a Lili player myself, I'm pretty excited. This Vampire girl looks basically like Lili with vampire clothes. Bet she playes similar to Lili as well. I don't care actually, since I'm not too into Tekken Revolution.

Well there's a shocker. What really pisses me off though is that they obviously had concept art. Why wasn't that included in the poll so people could know what they were voting towards? Fuck these poll. Average-run-of-the-mill Old Man; yeah that's certain to bring the hype. How about change the top 3 to Average-run-of-the-mill Waifu / Loli bitches instead.

We were close on getting another character, whose moves based on a real martial art(i.e the female tekken force).

First of all I think the entire thing is poorly managed from the get go.
So you want to have a poll about a new character in the game? Make sure that you are measuring what you think you are (validity) and you use the opportunity to gain hype for your game.
Step 1; Look around - have any recent polls been made like this (Skullgirls). What did they do right and wrong?
Step 2; Use this to gain hype for your product (Tekken Revolution). How can this be done (look at MK / NRS / Skullgirls). It would seem slowly releasing characters and info would keep the product (Tekken Revolution) in constant media amongst the FGC and work well.
That Namco are clueless about how to do a poll like this and / or haven't looked at all at recent trends in character reveals says a whole lot. It's mindboggling. Fuck it - we're gonna wing this. I knock 'em down - run it homie.
How many people who even PLAY Revolution do you think even knew about this poll? 50%? 30? It was a small blimp on evenhubs / srk at it's peak due to the way this has been handled.
Finally, both step 1 and 2 above would require you to release concept art of the characters so that people actually know what the fuck they're voting for. Use the opportunity to make sure that actual people in the FGC community vote. Voting costs a dollar that goes to breast cancer research / starving children or something. Voting costs tickets. Fucking facebook page all random? Make people like the tekkenpage to vote. How about taking this time to actual LISTEN why people ARE voting for what they are and recieve feedback for the future of why people play / don't play tekken? That's not important? Aight run it homie.
Imagine what a PR opportunity this would have been if it instead was a big contest where people could give suggestions of their own on a character to Namco? Fuck that, lets go full retard cause we think fish are funny here at the office.
How about actually defining more clearly that this is "characters that are rejected ideas / funny" or something in bold more clearly. People had no idea what the fuck they were voting for or why period. If I were to vote for a mantis - would it be a retarded dr B thing or a legit character? Why is the poll (positive adjectives) biased towards certain characters?
TL;DR I don't know what I'd want cause I have no idea what I'm voting for. It wouldn't have been a vampire or a zombie that's for sure. You just KNOW this character is now in the tekken universe and will be in tt3 due to fan request (but,... but,... I <3 girl fighters bring loli back! ;( ) for the rest of your life.
