From Tekken Tag 2 To Tekken Revolution - Character Facial Changes

Here's an interesting aesthetic change that appears in Tekken Revolution, the alteration of several female character's face from their original in Tekken Tag Tournament 2. While this isn't an exclusive all new thing in the series, it's an interesting decision none the less as it harkens back to what Harada mentioned about Tekken X Street Fighters ages ago. So what do you think of the changes, an improvement or worse off? Images are all taken from olololkitty's tumblr page.

They look like Anime dolls in TR

- Christie looks like she just took a huge hit from the bong
- Lili has atopic dermatitis all around her eyes
- Asuka is ok
- Xiao is ok
- Nina looks like a zombie and in TR she has her head smaller than one of her boob
- Kunimitsu best changes ever
- Leo looks 13
- Alisa is a robot so nevermind

all in all, ttt2 beats tr even on chars faces

I like TTT2 Christie and Nina much better.

They look definitively better in TR. I hope that on PS4 and XONE face details will be much better.

Nearly of those pictures are too much anime for my taste, but think that it works out on younger characters, like all of the under 19 years old characters and the lighthearted ones as well, however for those who are more "mature" or respectable (yea I said it) like Nina, it comes out looking freaking stupid and highly unserious, which kills the way they are trying to represent her in the game being all serious and badass.

Well I just hope it's not as stupid looking in game =/

They all look pretty stupid imo, Tba the only one that looks good is Alisa and Kuni (even if I don't see the difference)
But I really hope this is a beta for Tekken x Street for PS4

Those TTT2 Nina and Christie faces look so eww!!! Have fun with your male face female characters, folks!

I definitely prefer Nina's face in TR.

blegh they all look more like anime characters now

All they need to do is make female shoulders not so huge, and they'll look fine.

Pretty much all the TR faces are horrible. Some of them don't even look human. Ling literally looks like a doll Nina's head is fat and looks like an alien, same thing with Leo. Everyone's face got really fat. WTH is with that?

TTT2 had much better looking female faces. More variety as well.

Now they all have the same anime style face. Fuck that shit.

TTT2 female faces > TR female faces

Lings face looks more like a schoolgirl now but the other changes are horrible. This is the wrong way for Tekken imo

oh and Ninas face looks like complete garbage now. Fearsome and ruthless Assassin, yeah sure

Namco smh

The TR faces add a general improvement on almost all of them. Christie finally loses her generic look, Alisa in an overall improvement, Nina doesn't look manish anymore (needs to tone down the makeup though), Kuni is just a troll, lilli, Asuka and Xiao are just fine either way

so only the ladies got a facelift? so they made it softer I guess which I somewhat prefer actually compared to some mannish from ttt2.

i like how kuni is in there when it's practically no difference at all :p

TR is more real, just look at photos of these faces:

and compare them to TTT2 and TR.

I honestly prefer Lili's ttt2 face, it just need some changes and add eyelshes on her eyes would help it, and lipgloss! and improve her hair even more, add some front hair to would be good. and then improve her body, smaller breasts, smaller hands, thiner legs, and more thin waist.

Ling Looks best in TR, it suits her sooo perfect.

the rest of the women looks best in TTT2.. just need some changes.
